Easily the best fried chicken in the state. Both locations. Friendly recommendation for date night: split the chicken nuggets (whatever flavor you want), and get a few sides. Plenty of nuggets to share, and every single side dish is phenomenal.

This was a transcendent experience. I cannot describe what it was like to bring this chicken home to a place where my wife and I (who are solid cooks) eat and sleep. I have never experienced something to this level. I was transported to a world of spicy and sweet chicken I have never been. I've eaten in the restaurant more than 5 times but bringing the chicken to a place that hasn't been consecrated is a monumental moment in my life.

This place makes it happen.

Great southern style place and maybe the best fried chicken in the twin cities. Got the whole bird with "poultrygeist" ghost pepper sauce and another tamer seasoned whole bird. The chicken was still juicy and flavourful under the spicy, crunchy, well sauced skin. And yes, we ate it all. The heat wasn't too bad.

The sides are delicious as well and really feels like southern food. The hush puppies are a very generous serving for a side. Really enjoyed the mashed potatoes here as well. Might as well get all the sides honestly. The burger cannot be cooked to order. It's similar to Culver's butter burger, where it's a very thin, greasy, yet tasty burger.

Would recommend if you enjoy southern food or friend chicken. A bit pricey, but fair. The cost feels worth the visit.

If you want the BEST…. I mean BEST BBQ sauce in the entire world, you MUST come here. They have this orange brown sauce that he said was habanero, but it is NOT at all as spicy as it sounds. When the sauce hits your tongue its like a tingly little sweet spicy feeling, not just taste, this sauce has a feeling. And it’s crazy GOOD! Our ribs were some of the best ribs I’ve ever had! If you’re not used to smoked ribs, the meat is a little tough compared to ribs that just fall off the bone. But with the sauce these ribs were to die for. I had so many endorphins running through my body after eating this. The fried chicken though, that had to be the best I’ve ever had in my life. The skin was crispy and melt in your mouth at the same time. I also love how they are very environmental friendly. No plastic straws, no paper napkins, even no paper towels in the bathroom! We will definitely be coming back!! I give it a 7 out of 10 for sure.
