“I'm drawn here because their baked items are made fresh each day and - handcrafted breads and pastries without preservatives. That’s remarkable in today’s world. You can pick up day-old baked items at reduced prices; but I prefer to go early and buy what’s fresh out of the oven. Nothing tastes as good as that. It’s nice for lunches, too. The Café Selection, especially sandwiches, use the bread they make and fill them with tasty combinations. It’s an ideal spot to take your children, catch up with friends, or as I do, host a business coffee, and/or often get something to go. Check out the community table – it really shows great support and loyalty to local residents. The pastry section, since I am such a scone connoisseur, is my favorite. There is no missing the “just-baked” flavor that makes them worth the calories. Every time I’m there I see people buying their caramel nut rolls – only my mom’s recipe beats them 😊. There are made with lots of butter and are chucked full of caramel. While you can purchase them with & without nuts, we prefer the nut version. It’s also very nice that these and many other items re for sale and in both mini and large sizes. The staff are vey friendly, this is something that I find is more common in small towns. I enjoy the chat about menu options, how the food is made, the baking schedule, and why they are so proud of their coffee. Check out this video where I’m filming, and the bakers are so pleasant and waving so friendly. It's a easy to go place for people with wheelchairs. You can enter in the back parking lot and not have to deal with any stair steps or ramp.”

“Love the coffee. Wish they would supply RELISH for their brats and dogs. Holiday station stores elsewhere can do this, but not Nfld.......even tho they keep promising they will!”

“If you are anywhere near Faribault, GO HERE. My two sisters and I did on the recommendation of a friend and we could not be more delighted with our delicious experience at Crack of Dawn Bakehouse. Chris and Lori (owners/bakers) are hardworking and terrifically talented, and their staff could not be nicer or more helpful. The food here is absolutely the BEST. We found ourselves saying, "This is the best ________ I've ever tasted" for every item we dove into. We highly recommend the things we had, which were: any flavor quiche on the menu, any of their bread loaves, the cookies (OMG), the caramel pecan rolls and cinnamon rolls (OMG AGAIN), "Nana's Sandwich," specially prepared coffees and teas, and, well, I just can't imagine that anything on their incredibly cute menu board could be any less than those items we devoured. I wish I had photos of the food but quite honestly, we inhaled it too fast for a photo op (and you just have to TASTE it; photos do not do it justice). Just GO.”

“I went to the Caribou Coffee shop on Heather Street in Shakopee, MN. Ordered 2 hot drinks. Mine was 'white chocolate mocha.' I didn't receive the two chocolate coffee beans that usually come with it. I tried to let the guy behind the counter know, but he just ignored me. I was NOT at the Caribou shop in Faribault.”

“Wow.. This place was great! Huge portions for everything we ordered and there were 5 of us that all got different things. They were all very good, service was fast, I'll definitely eat here again when we come through.”

“Food could have been made better. My sandwich looked like someone put something heavy on it and squashed it plus the cheese was hanging off of the burger halfway. They had fast service and the employees were nice.”

“The food here is not too expensive. The staff are always friendly and make you feel like your at home. The food does take time to be made but that's because it's all freshly made right there. If you are in a hurry order ahead or online. The smoothies taste great with the fresh fruit they put in.”

“First time using the self ordering consoles. Very easy, very user friendly. Paid at the console, took a table number and hot food was delivered with 5 minutes. Cups were at the counter, not on the tray, so we had to go get them. Restaurant and bathrooms clean. Large dining room had solid, blank walls; easy to keep clean and rather echo-y.”

“They have cold press on tap! Wish they'd offer stevia as a sweetener option though. Then I'd give 5 stars even if I do prefer the taste of Starbucks cold brew lol”

“Great small town sub shop. The meat is hot and moist. The bread is baked fresh. The decor is nice. The ice cream cones in healthy portions. I liked the root beer float.”

“Good coffee, unique specialty drinks, friendly staff, and a cozy environment. Also a good place to work/study as long as it's not too busy. There is a good amount of space. Haven't been there at night but they have an extensive wine/beer menu as well!”

“I'm just a humble albino Hispanic prospie from Alabama, so being in Minnesota at all was an experience. When I was offered the opportunity to go to the Cave, I took it—man am I glad I did. The Cave's a place where people come to chill, relax, listen to music, make music, and eat popcorn. I've never been in a place quite like it before, but I enjoyed every minute of it.”
