“We discovered this place by chance looking for a place to eat in route to the cities. We have a toddler and a dog and so we wanted a place that was near a park. We were pleasantly surprised to find that this place covers our all our needs. (Disclaimer we visited in late spring so the weather was perfect). They have a beautiful outdoor area with about 200’ of lake shore access. The t has a very pleasant beach and dock which the toddler was able to explore and dogs are welcome as if they are on leash. They brought us a large water bowl for our pup and we discovered that they have kids eat free on Sunday. They also have buy one get one drinks everyday if you are into that. But for a fantastic place to enjoy a meal with the family on a sunny Sunday I can’t think of a better atmosphere.”

“I have been to Russell's several times and although the ambiance is good, the food has always come up a little short. For starters, the salad bar if you choose it, is great. Lots of items to build your salad and they have a good variety of cold salads too. The main course offerings are good and you get a big portion, but unfortunately it usually lacks flavor. I have had the steak, steak and shrimp, and prime rib, and it looks great when presented at the table but upon first bite it falls short with little flavor. If you have a desert, this is usually where they do well. Every dessert that I have had from the cheesecake to lava cake and ice cream has been very good. I like the "supper club" feel of Russell's with the relaxed setting, because there isn't many like this around anymore. It is perfectly set along the shore of Big Lake, and easy to get to.”

“4 stars for the pizza, 2 stars for the service. I always do take out and every time I go in there, no one ever greets you, asks you what you’re waiting for, nothing. They walk around and ignore any waiting customers until you stand at the front desk and wave at someone in the back. The teenagers working there need to be better trained on how to pay attention to customers, even when they’re busy. There is no urgency among employees here. Great pizza though! Prices are very reasonable as well.”

Country fried steak dinner was tasty.. the customer service could have been better.. server came to the table twice.. once to ask how our food was and then gave us our bill.. charged my mom full price for buffet when she's a senior discount.. server fixed the bill.. didn't ask me if I wanted a to go box, had to ask for one.. however.. will for sure eat here again..”

“First time stopping but definitely will be back. Ordered the Whiskey burger and was blown away! Burger was hot and juicy and definitely good sized. The whiskey added a nice sweetness to the burger and the black pepper balanced out that sweetness with the little kick it needed. Fries were hand-cut, seasoned & cooked perfectly. Save room for dessert, the Buffalo Ball Sundae is priced right and perfect for 2 people to share (you could probably even share it 3 ways!)”
