“The ambiance is nice, it’s definitely a more upscale building than most places around town. The food is overpriced, which is kind of a given with it being attached to the theater, but it’s not terribly overpriced, either. Except for the pizzas, the regular prices for those are highway robbery. Fortunately they have specials on them all the time, so can typically get them for way less. The soft drinks are $3.77 a piece, which is also kind of ridiculous, but compared to the theater next door, it seems more reasonable. The service is inattentive at best. They are friendly, but that’s the best I can really say. Our drinks weren’t refilled, it took a long time to get menus and the bill, and we had a very simple order. FOH really needs some oversight, based on all the comments people have left about service.”

“This Subway location is more expensive than others. I'm assuming because of the lot rent or being a corporate store, I'm not positive. They definitely have higher prices than most that I have been to or worked at. Also **They do NOT take Discover card**, I learned this the hard way. There have been two times that I went to the Subway to find a sign hanging on the front of the glass that read, "Will be back shortly, had to run to the bank." I suppose that it's okay, considering there are other food options in the food court, but that was rather disappointing. ☹️ They do have decent customer service for being a fast food location in a high traffic area. There is a limited menu at this location. For instance, if you are looking for a children's tuna sandwich, you will not get it here, and a lot of the promotions do not seem to come to this location. I bought a child's veggie sub meal one day and was told they do not have children's toys. Another time when I purchased the same child's meal I received a child's toy; thus, I'm not really sure whether they do or do not provide children's toys on a regular basis.”

If you like vegetables cooked to a perfect, tender crisp texture, flavors that compliment a diverse palate and wide ranging dishes prepared from soups, stir-frys, dumplings, Chinese BBQ, desserts, salad with toppings, fish, pork, chicken and beef then welcome to the China Star! This is not your average Chinese/American buffet. The dishes are made with care and continually replenished. No overheated leathery shrimp or overcooked vegetable glop. Servers are cheerful and attentive, and remove dishes quickly. I have eaten Asian food from around the world and would happily pay double for food of this quality. But the flavors and menu items uninspired—if it weren’t for the fried pickles, I’d have a hard time believing this menu had changed in the past twenty years, the burgers look unappealing due to a lack of attention when making them, and there are many places close by where your dollar will go farther.”

“Amazing. I go here very often and always get the 8oz steak as a "kabob" either on rice or broccoli or instead with a side salad. I'm not too sure about drinks because I usually get water or a margarita. The margaritas are great. The mango one definitely has a kick. But my favorite is to just get the top shelf with a flavor and the patron kicker. It's so good. The staff are excellent. Their always friendly and helpful. When you call to do a "reservation" it's very speedy. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking to go out to eat. Oh and I love to bring family and friends!”
