“This is an Italian restaurant that is off Cowan Lorraine Road in Gulfport. It has been open since November 2022. The atmosphere is awesome. The food was spot on, and the staff are warm and welcoming. The co owner James will make sure that your dining experience has been great. They have a well stocked bar for adult beverages and Aaron will welcome you and serve you with a smile. It is a great place for lunch, family dinner, or a romantic dinner for two. It is also kid friendly. They have outside dining available….. Tried their meatball sub, which was awesome. The meatballs were cooked perfection they have a different flare on french fries. They were good also. I would call them spiral fries.. their chicken Parmesan was superb. Chicken was fried and juicy, red sauce was spot on and pasta cooked to perfection. If you haven’t been there, you need to try it I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves good Italian food at a great price, they do offer daily lunch specials, but remember they are closed on Tuesday. If you are local, give them a try, you will not be let down. If you are traveling, they are only a short distance from the I-10.”

I was greeted with a friendly hello by the hostesses and the young lady also asked how my day was going which was very nice. My server was a very pretty girl named Savannah who greeted us promptly and was knowledgeable about the whole menu. She gave us suggestions on every course of the meal from the appetizer, the main courses, the desserts, and even the drinks. Savannah really stood out with her excellent service and attentiveness. The atmosphere was very unique with onlooking view of the water and the details of the pier connecting the restaurant. P.S. the rest of the staff who walked by or dropped off food or filled of drinks, all were so friendly as well making it such a good vibe.”

“This was my first visit to Blue Dog Bistro in Gulfport and I must say that I am beyond impressed. The establishment is clean with a touch of elegance, and the food is delectable. I got the chicken caprese with cauliflower mash and I swear it got better with each bite. The chicken was grilled to perfection and I couldn't tell that the potatoes weren't actually potatoes. I sat at the counter and Jake was thee friendliest person ever. Actually, all the staff was pretty amazing. And, the peach bellini that he made me was the perfect drink to wash my food down with. This was one of the best first impressions that I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. I'm definitely coming back for more!”

“I had been meaning to try El Garcia, so I did tonight. It's located off the Canal road exit outside Gulfport and even though it's kind of in a big field/parking lot, don't let that dissuade you. The building is huge, light, airy, super clean and open and really well decorated! A great atmosphere!! I ordered combo fajitas and a beer. The fajitas were at my table in under 7 minutes and we're so hot I had to let them cool several minutes! The chicken was juicy the steak a beautiful medium rare and super tender and the shrimp were seared gulf jumbo shrimp. Everything was very well seasoned but not too spicy, the corn tortillas were piping hot and fresh! All the veggies were caramelized well and the fajita seasoning was great! Portions were large enough, I took a little home. Don't forget the chips and salsa. The salsa is excellent! Service was super friendly and prompt! I will be back!!!”

“I have tried a few things there and I out of the things I’ve tried I got a few favorites 1st is the Seafood box its amazing and seasoned to perfection. 2nd is tied between the Pull pork and the wings ( any flavor u can’t go wrong) The pull pork and coleslaw was not only delicious but loaded with meat trust me when I say he ain’t skimpy on the portion size and it’s always fresh which is very important to me and my family. The wings was smoked and seasoned to perfection. And lastly the price r so reasonable unlike other places u definitely get ur money worth and some. I could eat here every week especially on Seafood Fridays 🥰🥰! I just wished they could be opened later in the day so I could have it for dinner some nights but until then I’ll continue to be there b4 the doors open for lunch. Keep up the great work!!”

“Decided to try this location on Highway 49 in Gulfport. Ordered their 2 piece, fish special, which came with two hush puppies and your choice of a side I choose french fries. The fish was fried perfectly. The hush puppies were good french fries were so so but that’s OK. The other food made up for it. Of course I like cocktail sauce which I was given, fresh lemon and ketchup. I did the drive-through the service was quick. The girl at the window was courteous and nice and even went out of her way to get the lemon for me so I will give this restaurant six stars but I can’t so they got five. I didn’t go inside the restaurant it was very clean and very modern. They have a drink station for dine in high chairs pretty much whatever you need bathrooms were very very clean. I would recommend this Captain D’s to anyone on the Coast.”

“Really amazing experience. The wait time wasn't too long considering I had a bigger lunch order. Everything was delicious! The cheeseburger, the fries, the chili cheese fries, both po boys, and the malt shake! The PO boy bread is fantastic; just soft enough but not soggy, and not so crunchy it hurts. They were super filling and generous on all the fillings. And the fries were so good! Crispy but soft, well seasoned and this is with a 15 minute drive! Rebel dip is good ole comfort fast food with some terrific service. Definitely coming back!”

“Good old fashioned Southern cooking. Open 7 days from 6 am to 9 pm. Ample off street parking. Friendly staff who follow Covid protocol. Large menu.from salads, sandwiches, dinner plates, and desserts. Kids menu too. My favorites are Mamma's hamburger and liver dinner plate with Delicious onion gravy mashed potatoes and green beans. Prices are very reasonable. I tried the Big Daddy hamburger and it was so large with 2 big burgers on a toasted bun fully dressed with veggies I almost couldn't eat all of it. The breakfast menu is huge. I highly recommend this restaurant.”
