Excellent little bar. Talked to the owner and it seems he's genuinely happy to see most people that walk in. They have a wide selection of liquor and an excellent selection of beer to please even the pickiest of beer drinkers.
Some of the most genuine waiters and waitresses I've ever dealt with. The food was great the service was superb, a little pricey but excellent. I am a very picky person and no one gets a 5 in my reviews without being perfect. It's casual yet classy, I will endorse this place and recommend their competition to take notes. The gentleman that owns the place has been skydiving since the 70s he's had over 24 hours of Free Fall time, with over 2,000 jumps. He's a very interesting man, should you be lucky enough to meet him you might find yourself hanging on his every word. Such memorable social experiences are few and far between.
Since 1938 the DuKum has been a great gathering place-food and drink, fun, fellowship. The tenderloin and chicken strips are great and the onion rings fabulous. The building is worth a look, but it is the people, from Craig, Gina, and Chade to the entire staff that make it truly a great experience. Check it out for yourself, you won't regret it.
Great place for a meeting after work hours. Staff is always friendly and the Shorten family are big supporters of the community. No food or beverages on my last visit as I arrived late and knew I had to leave early. After the 3rd staff person offered to take my order I did ask for a glass of water. I recommend the chicken strips & onion rings. Large enough you could share.
Great service. The owner was a very pleasant host. Excellent beer selection.
