Wooden Nickel

This place is amazing!!! Every meal I've had has been the very best I've had in a long time. The place has that small town vibe, with BIG city taste. They even have a bar in the back that is fully stocked. If your looking for a good bite to eat, I recommend trying the Wooden Nickel, you won't regret it!

Was a nice place.... food looked good but didn't eat just had a couple drinks.

We've eaten here two times now the food is pretty good and I would suggest eating here if you have the ability to be patient. Just like everywhere right now I think they are having a hard time finding good help.
The food has been very good both times. The fried zucchini appetizer is sooooo good and the pasta is very good...
Give them a try just plan on being patient...

Food is mediocre. Got the prime rib sandwich and it was ok. Wife got the pasta and it was the same. The service needs to be worked on. Young lady came and seated us. Ordered drinks and they were brought out. My wife had coffee and the waitress kept it filled. Halfway through the meal I ran out of soda. She did not offer a refill during our meal. They were not very busy and when it came time to settle up this waitress couldnt even get that right. I will pay for good service and this time I gave her bare minimum. Please work with your staff so they can earn more in tips....

Great i had my little birthday fun.it was wonderful.tickle had fun. It's a great place in kirksville to have fun and eat awesome food. Enjoy this place students.
