“Was staying at a family friend's house near mile marker 60 and needed ice. Closest place via car except going into town. The clerk was very friendly and the grounds seemed very well taken care of. Also seems very family friendly (way more than a lot of spots on LOTO). If I am in the area again, I will swing in for any necessities.”

“(The main entrance, balcony, and bathroom doors of the room were very hard to open and close. If you got them çlosed all the way latched, it was incredibly hard to open back up. The bathroom did not have a fart fan. That was a big Con.) PRO: The lake view was awesome. The main lobby and restaurant area was very nice. I personally did not spend a lot of time there. I just walked through to get outside to the pool. The pool was nice, and it had a bar close. Didn't have to go far for food or drink. And really nice landscaping all the way around the pool. So other than the room doors not working properly and no fart fan In the bathroom, The place is very nice I would suggest staying.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Buddy's Harbor. The owners and staff were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. We stayed in the studio cabin which was enough for two adults, one child, and a dog. The kitchenette's full-sized fridge, sink, microwave, and dishes were great to have. The menu covered all the bases and DELICIOUSLY so - definitely don't miss the fries! It was a nice mix of guests - families, couples, and friends. Being able to rent a pontoon boat & jet ski on-site was really convenient. Buddy's was also conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, etc. We enjoyed our stay so much, we booked it three weeks later so we got to enjoy it all over again.”

“The exterior of this place does not look like what you would expect for a top chop house, but this is a perfect example of “don’t judge a book by the cover”. The moment you enter you can see it is everything you expected plus more. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Our server, Terra, was delightful. She was very helpful and attentive. The food? Oh yea, AMAZING! I enjoyed the Chophouse chicken, French onion soup and my husband ordered the rib eye steak, Mac and cheese, and a salad. The dessert was a spectacular spice carrot cake with just the right amount of delicious cream cheese frosting. When we were leaving we noticed down at the end of the building was a place called Jones Gin Joint. We will be back to check it out. We highly recommend Jones ChopHouse for dinner in you are in the area. Enjoy!”

They have free ice cream which is delicious. I would come back to this place anytime I visit Missouri. The location looks similar to TV SHOW "Ozark" which makes it fascinating! This place is a one stop shop having gas station, jet skiing, food, drinks, vibe etc.”

“Brunch by the lake…that sounds like a fantastic morning does it not?? Visit the Hatch to enjoy delicious brunch entrees and mimosa towers served next to a beautiful view of the lake. Drive up, walk up, or pull your boat up to the dock! There is seating inside as well as a large patio for outdoor dining. Because this place is so popular, expect to have a short wait for your table if you visit during busy times. Walk along the water or feed the fish while you wait, I promise any wait here is worth it!”
