“This is middle America at it's finest. Totally felt welcomed even though we were totally "outsiders". The food was yum comfort food and plenty of it. The young waitress had her young son rolling around the dining room in a self-propelled child's walker. We all enjoyed that. It was such a positive experience and a fair price. We would definitely go there again, even though it was 5 miles off our vacation path/route. Definitely not a chain restaurant. Took one star off because there was only one bathroom for both men and women to share and it was one toilet.”

“This is a great place to eat or drink! Our company was a bit on the "demanding side" and needing much attention! Still our waiter was as kind as he could be. He gave extra chips and salsa, napkins, as we chunked down their crafted margaritas, (which were well mixed). We have eaten there several times and will will continue to go back!! The service could've been a little better though. Another person in my party got a meatloaf which was apparently "decent" which means a lot coming from him. Maybe just a fluke.
