“I recently moved to the area and discovered this great place! I ordered the queso dip appetizer, which was half price, and steak fajitas which came with the usual accompaniments. I was pleasantly surprised to see the steak was sliced in long, thick strips, not the dried out skinny little jerky-like pieces you get at other Mexican restaurants. The meat was well seasoned, juicy, and tender. They had great drink specials, but since I was driving, abstained. I will definitely be coming back!”

“We just had a few days of a golf outing at Osage Beach. On the last night we went to Li'l Rizzo's Restaurant after doing a google search for Italian restaurants. Google couldn't have done a better job. The food was super quality and quantity. The service was great too. We golf there annually and we will definitely be back.”

“Had pork Taco's without the Chipotle sauce. Asked for salsa Verde instead. Very good! Only thing was the shells, made in house maybe, fell apart while eating. That and the price were the only negatives here. $17 for three tacos, rice, soda and the ubiquitous chips/salsa. Good salsa though. Minus 1 star for price and 1 for paper thin taco shells. Probably worth 1 trip to try them. After that, your choice.”

“Really eclectic, beautiful setting, one of the oldest buildings on the lake that was was painstakingly brought back to life, but they have a LONG way to go if they want to be one of the best restaurants on the lake. Food was average, and if you're going to have to wait an hour and ten minutes for your food, it better be great. Waiter was great. I'm not the type that looks at my bill and worries about cost, IF the food is worth it, but there are other places on the lake to go that are worth the cost. This would be a great place to go for drinks and hangout. Surrounded by a great setting and nostalgic ambience, stop by after enjoying a timely dinner somewhere else.”

“First, the staff at Baxter’s is always polite, friendly, and extremely helpful. They truly set the bar for a wonderful customer experience, and the management (Corey, Ashley, and Ted) are simply put - amazing people. Secondly, the food is always excellent, consistent, and memorable. The first thing I wanted (sorry, demanded from my husband) after a long nine months of pregnancy was the ooey gooey butter cake. As always, it has never disappointed. Thank you again to the wonderful staff at Baxter’s and for all the little things I’ve not mentioned in this review (clean bathrooms, great atmosphere, competitive pricing, etc) that make this our go to restaurant at home.”

“Visited JJ Twigs on a Sunday evening. Server was pleasant to be served by. He even sang a little when walking around, could be a sign he likes where he works and what he does. He did a great job of being attentive but not overbearing. My child even dropped something and he picked it up. If you have peanut allergies, don't come here. There are peanuts in the lacquer of the table. They have complimentary whole peanuts that you're allowed to toss on the floor. Food was timely. Menu had expected pizza and BBQ items, as it promotes. Food was good, not something where I need to go again tomorrow, but we would certainly go again. Atmosphere was laid back, salad bar type. The lighting was dimmed a little, so this could also be a nice place for a date, but not too dark. There were couples and families alike dining in. They have to-go options and it seems like a front and back bar (?). There was a ton to look around at, which we tend to enjoy. The kids like the many animals on display and we even saw a real pink and purple fish along with turtles. They also had a trivia game option (for free) which was nice for the older kids while waiting.”

“By far some of the best food and service I have ever had. I had the filet and king crab legs. Steak was cooked to perfection and was so tender I melted in my mouth. Crab was wonderfully cooked and flavorful. Service was impeccable. The only reason it's not 5/5 is price. It's definitely on the very high end when it comes to price. Even just for a basic steak meal it is much higher than most places. Adult beverages are higher than most other places as well. Fantastic service and flavorful food help make it feel worth it though.”

“I love all the McDonalds scattered around the country. Their food is very very similar no matter which one used. They have a great drive-up. Very fast service. Their large soda's are still one dollar. And of course their fries are hot and salty delicious. Yeah I probably eat there too much, but their prices aren't too bad either. And restrooms are always clean. Usually nice large spacious parking lot. I like that they hire lots of young people.”

“I’ve been ordering from a competitor pizza place closer to my home for years. I’ve become fed up with their short-staffed antics and decided to travel 10 min out of my way for dominos tonight. I’m so glad I have gave them a chance!! There was four employees working this evening and all four were diligently in their place and working hard when I arrived to pick up my online order. I was greeted the moment I walked through the door, and promptly checked out at the register. While I waited in-house for my order to be made, a gentleman walked in to pick up a phone order. Before even getting to the counter, the man was complaining about something he didn’t like about the ordering process. He then proceeded to complain that there weren’t the right amount of “drummies” in his order of wings. The employee behind the counter was patient and listened to the man berate her and another employee about his wing order. Despite this man’s unreasonable expectations and requests, the employee listened and apologized. No matter what was offered, this man continued to be hateful and rude but the employee didn’t ever return fire. The entire situation gave reassured me that I picked the right place for my dinner. All four employees remained calm, poised, and friendly, despite what could have been a stressful situation. I applaud the staff who was working tonight. I wish I would’ve gotten names of the four of them. I’ll be back for sure!”
