“Good food. I had the philly cheese steak with fries and my girlfriend had the grilled chicken bacon Swiss sandwich & fries. My Philly was good. Not mind blowing but definitely for being in the Midwest it was very good. Lite on the cheese IMO. It was there, but not obvious. Her sandwich was the same. Everything had good flavor except the actual chicken. It was simply a grilled breast. The seasonings used on the fries are fantastic! I'm sure they were just basic crinkle cut but what was sprinkled on them is pretty magical. Whatever mix that is, use it liberally! We shared a order of fried pickles too. We both suggest those be a focal point for your servers to recommend. They are great! She got a order to take home they were so good. All in, we'll be back. “We were at Kennedy's with a large group of friends today. The food and service were exemplary. When requested items were not available, substitutions were made with no charge to the customer. Two of us split the tenderloin sandwich, and it was plenty. The tenderloin was well seasoned and very tender. We were also offered additional drinks to go. We would definitely a return trip to Smithville just for this restaurant.”

“A cool little hole in the wall diner with a lot of history in the building. Everyone was super friendly and my grub came out quickly. I tried the pulled pork sandwich, Carolina style. Their slaw is a little different than the normal, homemade and delicious none the less. Their in house sauce was good enough that I bought some to take home. Prices are very reasonable too. Would definitely stop here again! Keep up the great food!”

“Great place for a pork tenderloin sandwich. The breading stayed on, didn't flake off. I even liked the fries (which I generally ignore). As we were eating, a platter of breaded catfish swam by, and Kathy's eyes lit up. Giant portions! I was told I had to try the place after Kathy and friends ate grilled pork chop last night. She was suitably impressed then, as I am today. Country compfy setting, and country pleasant service as well. If you try this place I think you will be impressed as well.”
