“We've eaten at several Chinese places in Independence. All are good, but Lao Peking is above the rest. We normally order take out. Portion size is excellent. Enough for two full meals. They make their own spicy mustard, you have ask for it otherwise you will just get the packages of mustard. They also make their own crab rangoon and their own egg rolls. Which makes them much better than the frozen ones.”

“Fresh baked bread and fresh veggies. One item was the meat. I mentioned it but so thin you could see through the meat. So I asked for double meat on one sandwich. The sandwiches were priced at $4.95 each. The extra meat was $3.00 and I am pretty sure as thin as it was sliced, well they made their percentage. “I thought this place was very professional and the help was also very personable which is an added bonus because that cannot be taught. It can be improved on with good Management but the basic structure is in the individual. There products were Vegetarian friendly which I am and the wife's meat products were very good as always. The quality of their meat the chicken that they use is actually pretty good now maybe I'm just soft or something but the hot buffalo is really hot so unless you want to get a surprise because you're used to the weaker hot buffalo that other places claim is hot I would go with medium Buffalo.”

The place was actually clean! The drink station was clean. The tables were clean the floor was even clean! Nothing was sticky. The employees were nice to one another. A guest came in while making their order the guest changed their mind a few times. The employee didn't get annoyed or frustrated. I swear other subways could learn a thing or two from this place. None of the ones near me are this pleasant.”

This isn’t like McDonald’s with the low food quality, the food is GREAT it has similar prices and is just as accessible you’re looking for a good bang for you’re buck you should eat here. They have this Italian sauce dressing stuff that is to DIE FOR. If you come here there are a few things you should know, ONE: have Provolone, it’s the easiest to pull apart with gloves TWO: don’t steal, these people have better things to do than to deal with thieves THREE: there isn’t a “manager” there are only two people at a store at a time FOUR: no meatball on flatbread???? That’s pretty much it, other than the fact that this place is EPIC! have a good time, enjoy your food and show it off with PRIDE. PS. Did I mention that this is real cheap? I’m in HS and this is affordable to me. In context, one time I spent more that 40$ on groceries and my bank thought my card was stolen. I’ll admit that this isn’t the best for first dates but this is cool for “a quick bite to eat” I don’t work here or have ever but my friends have told me that working here is really fun.
