“Great food for a great price. The dinner plates are enough for two. Not many places that provide the bang for your buck quite like Golden Rice does. For less than $15 you can feed 2 and have leftovers! Highly recommend the crispy honey chicken, it’s crispy but juicy and very flavorful. We drive out from Raytown frequently to satisfy our craving and it always delivers. The lady who runs the place is always nice, can’t recommend this place enough.”

“We like this place. The food is good and there's lots of it. The staff is very friendly and cordial. I love the coconut shrimp and the Japanese chicken. They also have pretty good frogs legs. They also have some great desserts, like a java pudding and their egg custard is to die for! It's not real fancy, and the ambiance might suffer just a tad because of the age of the building.”

“I went there this morning after a long 12hr overnight shift. I order 6 biscuits and gravy, 6 cinnamon raisin biscuits, a side of gravy and 2 sausage egg and cheese biscuits. I get home and was giving the kids their food and of course my food was missing. I wish workers would just double check the orders before sending them out. So I go to bed hungry and no food. “First time out here and wish it was closer to home. Good enough for a 30 minute drive though. Fresh home made mass corn tortilla enchiladas were 100% perfect. Hot and mild sauce both really good. Mild sauce has such good flavor. I will definitely come back and bring friends. I got chicken enchiladas and my buddy got chicken tacos. He said they were badass. They looked awesome. “I took some home to try with the family, ribs don't even need sauce it's so flavorful and tender, but not mushy like I've had before at other places. When I first ate the turkey I thought it was the ham, so good. The ham had a good taste but was a little on the dry side, not bad overall. Beans were a little thick for my taste but the coleslaw was perfect. Not bitter or overly sweet like a lot of places and the mild sauce is like a kc masterpiece style while the hot is more like a mop sauce, both were equally good. Also hot isn't overly spicy so don't be afraid to try it. I would definitely recommend the bbq here, very good overall.”

“My daughter and I visited this restaurant for the first time today and my review is mixed. My daughter ordered the fried chicken breakfast, over medium fried egg, home fries and biscuit with gravy on the side. The chicken was good and hot, the biscuit good, the potatoes hard and cold and the gravy cold and quite firm. I ordered the BLT with fries and a slice of coconut cream pie. The tomatoes and lettuce were super fresh and flavorful, the bacon had good favor but was like jerky, the bread was good but I don't care for cold toast. Fries were barely warm. The pie had OK flavor but the pie mixture was much more firm than I am used to. Now to service...there were a few waitresses working and they were not that busy. After a little wait our order was taken, but we did wait a while before we got our food. We did see it sitting up on the counter for a while and we did see her look at it twice and go do something else before bringing it out to us. We didn't see her again while we were eating.”

“We live in Kansas but we're from Illinois. So every time we go home to visit we stop at THIS wingstop. They are the most consistent with quality and taste of product. I have honestly never had bad food from this location. There are so many others I can't say the same about. My favorite is the Louisiana rub with the Cajun fries with a grape drink out of the drink machine. The parking lot is tiny but we have always been able to find a spot.”
