The food is fantastic. It fills your stomach and your soul, and the portion sizes are great for the price.

If you are looking for a great breakfast in KC - this is the place! If you are fortunate enough to get Myra as your server then your experience will be even more fun! The food was great and Myra's fun comments made it a memorable experience. There are not enough local soul food/diner places in many cities around these days and Niece's is one that needs to be patronized to make sure it endures!

Stopped in from out of town on a recommendation from a friend, it did not disappoint!! Portions were huge, staff was extremely friendly and food was great!!! Our omelets came out so fast I thought for a minute they were made ahead of time but since I had a custom omelet that could not have been the case. Prices very reasonable. I may be back for dinner!!

Had amazing service and the food was delicious. I had the Brisket sandwich and KC barbeque enthusiasts will NOT be disappointed!

This was so delicious! The grits were perfect and rich, though I did add a little brown sugar to my liking. The gravy has just the right viscosity/volume to it that it was not runny nor did I feel it would congeal into a weird bread goop like some gravy does. The gravy also had a little kick from the pepper in it, which I love. The biscuits.... Oh man, the biscuits underneath. To be honest, they are more like heavy yeast rolls.... Which are AMAZING! I really did enjoy every bite. Stop by and have a wonderful breakfast. The staff is friendly, the clientele is delightfully diverse, the prices are good, and they open at 5:30am. Be full, be blessed.
