“I had a great time with friends at Llywelyn's Pub the other weekend! My friends and I initially came for a few drinks and some food. The food menu had Irish favorites like fish and chips and burgers but you can find classic bar favorites too. My partner ordered a veggie burger with sweet potato fries, and we shared spinach artichoke dip and pita bread with the table. I thought their drink menu had a lot of options especially with beers! We came on a Saturday not knowing there would be live music. The band playing the night we came were so good! The lead singer and guitarist both killed it! All of us a had a wonderful time dancing and singing along to classic party favorites. My parents ended up joining later in the night and we ran into the parents of my boyfriend's friend too. It ended up being a big group and our server Bri (?) was awesome! I wish I was more confident about our server's name because she was so great. From the time we arrived before music, to the time we left after music we always had filled waters and if we needed anything we were able to order quickly. Overall my friends and I had a great experience at Llywelyn's Pub and I'd definitely go back!”

This is the place I have been searching for for a while, a place that serves great food, I had two biscuits and gravy and it was the best by far at most places I've had been for sit-down breakfast. They greeted me when I came in the door, seated me and then brought a complimentary cinnamon roll which was was delicious and homemade and you can buy them by the dozens. The lady in the picture was my server and she was very very polite and a top-notch waitress probably deserves a raise. Put this place on your bucket list of places to dine in for Top Notch home style food.”

“I dined at Brick's for the first time with my mother for a sporadic late lunch. I thought the interior had a nice classic pub feel with unique artwork and signage around. We got there before the dinner rush so quite a few tables were open. I was surprised no one really greeted us when we came in or told us where to sit so we just grabbed a booth. It took quite a while before a server said she would be right with us. It took another 10 minutes or so before an off the clock server brought us waters, to my dismay with a straw in it when I had asked not to have a straw. We were finally brought menus and decided what to eat. The initial server who greeted us came back to the table to take our drink orders. She passed our table when bringing my mom's drink. Before we could order food she left and said she'd be back. I felt a bit bad for her because it seemed like she was the only one running the floor, carrying away dirty dishes, taking orders, even helping with drinks behind the bar. Still though, it took quite a while longer before I could order a drink and we were able to order food. The food came out quickly and honestly was better than I thought it would be. My mom and I shared the veggie sandwich on a lightly toasted rye bread with a side of sweet potato fries. I thought it had a good balance of flavors and was prepared well. When we were ready to go we had to flag our server down to ask for the check. She accidentally passed our table again when bringing the check. It really seemed like we had just been forgotten throughout the whole meal. We noticed the table in front of us had sat down after us, ordered drinks and food, dined, paid, and left before we even got our check. It just seemed like from start to finish we weren't a priority and that was very frustrating. Despite the food tasting good and enjoying our drinks when we finally got them, I wasn't impressed overall. For future, just a little more attentiveness would have given me reason to give it another try but will likely not go back to Brick's again. *Update- in response to comment below. Thank you for responding to this experience. We dined on Saturday February 15th, around 3:30/3:45 is when we got there. I hope that helps.”

Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Lee Summit the interior is on point with lots of nostalgia. Lunch specials are my favorite. You can get two slices or a slice and salad for like $6. They also have a full bar so that’s a huge bonus. All and all you can’t beat it in Lee Summit.”

“Came in for lunch and drinks. Had 2 flights and sampled all of Smoke's beer. Every beer was exceptional! For my meal I had the Brisket sandwich. It was puked with sliced brisket, pulled brisket and smoked bacon. Every bite was dripping with deliciousness. Also got a side of pork belly burnt ends, they could have used a little more bark, but we're very good as well. Can't wait to come back!”

First he called me after I placed my order to confirm I wanted red sauce rather than oil on my half of the pizza (totally didn’t cross my mind that the toppings I picked wouldn’t mesh as well with the original sauce), THEN he was the sweetest when we were running late to pick up our pizzas at the end of the night right before closing.
