“We've visited the original Moti Mahal restaurant in north Kansas City which is excellent. We were staying in Independence for the eclipse and ordered a family takeaway from this restaurant as it was closer. We were not disappointed. I ordered the food in the restaurant and was given a cup of chai tea and a treacle dumpling unprompted while I waited. There was an excellent choice of vegetarian and meat dishes. The restaurant was quite busy as it was Saturday evening and it is located in a busy bohemian art district which looks to be worth a visit.”

“At 12:40am I pulled through the drive through and it didn’t take very long there was a nice lady working the drive up and I noticed when I pulled out the double quarter pounder box it was hot. Then I grab the burger and wow it was Hot! It tasted good and I am shocked there is a McDonald’s that actually cooks the hamburger fresh. All the other McDonald’s i have been to in the last year have served me like warm to barely warm burgers even though they advertise it is cooked once you order which for every other McDonald’s that is a flat out lie. “Nice store. Very up-to-date. Could be cleaner though. The drink machines (very first thing in the morning) were still sticky from previous day. There was a chicken nugget in the middle of the open floor (I'm guessing from previous day), and the floors felt greasy/slick to walk on, even over by the bathrooms. This place won't look nice for long at this rate. So far it's nice because it's new enough. Hope that gets managed well. For now, I'd return, but I'll be watching for signs of further deterioration in cleanliness.”

“I travel to Kansas City for work and I’ve come here 3 times and each time the service is phenomenal and the food is mouth watering. I am super picky with Mexican food and they get it right every time. I leave full and happy . The management is great and so are the servers. They are quick to meet your needs ! . Tonight I called in a to go order after a long day of work and they filled me up with extra chips and extra sour cream with no additional charge to my to order .. simply out of pure kindness. “Been a while since I've had a good dining experience at Chili's. Unfortunately the food and the service has gone down in the past few years, but today was truly an exception. Suggested we go here as my uncle wanted to finish watching a football game and we were able to be sat in the bar area. Normally the table we sat at was for four people, but they were able to be set up for five. I flipped through their colorful menu and decided on their blackberry tea to start. The tea was super refreshing and not too sweet. To eat I got their three for $10. For my starter I got their chicken enchilada soup and for my main meal I got their chicken tenders with all broccoli instead of the corn and fries. Everything was very yummy with the exception of the tenders being a little too salty. I was expecting because of the price that the size would be smaller, but this was not the case. I got the full size order and I got almost three meals! The service was great as well with our waiter being able to memorize our orders and being so kind about bringing us out additional items, drinks, and boxes. I definitely will consider returning to Chili's in the future.”

“Delicious tacos! This drive thru restaurant in northern KC near Barry Road is billed as a Mexican restaurant but has a nice variety of menu items (zoom in on the pic of the counter). They are famous for their tacos, which are fried and come with powdered nacho cheese on top. Definitely worth trying! They also have what they call pocket burgers, which are steamed buns filled with beef and mustard and pickles and onions, are also delicious! There is plenty of seating inside this location, along with two corner TVs which are often tuned into sports. It’s a great place to stop before or after heading to the airport which is less than a 10 minute drive away! Worth trying and the staff are very friendly!”

“This place is bananas! We came back twice during our trip. To start the waiter was very nice. The food was perfect and cooked absolutely how we like it. I saw more people carry out than eat in the restaurant. I did notice they had a long wait at times for food. It seems they have a limited staff but they put out a quality product so good things take time. I saw some people giving upset but I said it's not a problem I'm happy to wait. Like I said the food was perfect. Plus if the other people were in a hurry there is a Panda Express on the corner. If you want cheap quick Chinese go there. If you want superb Chinese food for a fair price come to chopstix.”
