“My favorite Starbucks in St. Louis. It’s hard to even tell it’s there from the outside, and there’s no drive-thru, but it’s big and open on the inside and – most importantly – has a Clover brewer and Starbucks Reserve coffee available. I got a venti Hawaii K’au, which was about $7. Pretty pricey for a plain ol’ coffee, but this is a Starbucks Reserve coffee that’s about $36 for a bag. Treat yo self! It was very tasty. Since this Starbucks is in Westport, parking can sometimes be tricky. Thankfully, there’s a set of several (4-6?) Sports reserved for Starbucks 15 minute parking. They’re in the first row, closest to Starbucks.”

Seriously, had a really huge portion served to me of grilled chicken caesar salad, and burger, fries, and beer. “Obviously a popular place, Drunken Fish is hidden in what appears to be an old office building that now hosts several theatre/comedy clubs along with a radio station whose glass enclosed studios provide an interesting view as you try to find the restaurant in the dimly lit building. I wasn't sure we were in the right spot and was cautiously ready to turn back until I finally spotted the signage. Once inside, the place was busy, a haven for those who had ventured up the narrow escalators and dark theatres. Our waiter was busy but was prompt and business like. Our food arrived quickly and was good. We were tired from travel on a long trip, so it wasn't a social engagement we were looking for. The food was a welcome change to the typical travelers food one finds in normal retail fronts.”

“If you're in the Chesterfield/Creve Coeur area, you have to try Pita Plus. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Even though we walked in less than 15 minutes before closing, he still gave us the option to dine in or take it to go. He recommended the falafel platter and said it was a popular favorite. So we decided to give it a try. The falafel here is one of the best i have had in St. Louis. It is made fresh packed with a lot of flavor, crunchiness and tastes delicious. In addition to the falafel plate (with hummus and salad) we ordered a classic gyro. The pita bread is made fresh and hot which is a plus. They have a plethora of sauces in the refrigerator that you can ask for at request including tzatziki and hot chili sauce. Portions are moderate. They also have some homemade desserts. The food is made to order and hot. There is a small seating area if you want to dine in or you can take it to go. Perfect for lunch or dinner. We will definitely come back.”

“Overall I’ve had good experiences here. It’s a good place to burn a couple hours with friends. The bocce ball setup is particularly fun if you can get some time on it. The only issue we’ve had is that it can sometimes be hard to get a drink when you’re ready for another one, but we ended up just walking up to the bar instead of waiting for our server. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something different to do.”
