“Obviously a popular place, Drunken Fish is hidden in what appears to be an old office building that now hosts several theatre/comedy clubs along with a radio station whose glass enclosed studios provide an interesting view as you try to find the restaurant in the dimly lit building. I wasn't sure we were in the right spot and was cautiously ready to turn back until I finally spotted the signage. Once inside, the place was busy, a haven for those who had ventured up the narrow escalators and dark theatres. Our waiter was busy but was prompt and business like. Our food arrived quickly and was good. We were tired from travel on a long trip, so it wasn't a social engagement we were looking for. The food was a welcome change to the typical travelers food one finds in normal retail fronts.”

“I wanted to see if the impossible burger was as good or bad as some of the reviewers boasted or derided. I was surprised at how good the taste was! If there had been a blind tasting, I might not have been able to tell the difference. I went back a few weeks later for the double Whopper impossible burger and was a very satisfying lunch without as much guilt as eating a fast food burger usually gives me. Didn't need any fries. Very satisfying fast lunch.”

“If you're in the Chesterfield/Creve Coeur area, you have to try Pita Plus. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Even though we walked in less than 15 minutes before closing, he still gave us the option to dine in or take it to go. He recommended the falafel platter and said it was a popular favorite. So we decided to give it a try. The falafel here is one of the best i have had in St. Louis. It is made fresh packed with a lot of flavor, crunchiness and tastes delicious. In addition to the falafel plate (with hummus and salad) we ordered a classic gyro. The pita bread is made fresh and hot which is a plus. They have a plethora of sauces in the refrigerator that you can ask for at request including tzatziki and hot chili sauce. Portions are moderate. They also have some homemade desserts. The food is made to order and hot. There is a small seating area if you want to dine in or you can take it to go. Perfect for lunch or dinner. We will definitely come back.”

“Been here less than a handful of times and there is no more than 5 patrons. If you don't like people, you can appreciate that. The food is good. Not a fan of the Kim Chi friend rice, I could have just had a "bad batch" because it was dry, bland, and clumpy (like small rice balls clumpy). Kim Chi is very good! The tacos are great and flavorful. The staff are friendly and attentive the moment you walk in. Since there aren't many patrons, food prep and wait time is less then 15 minutes depending on how much you order.”
