“We always have a great experience at Saffron. The food is delicious and the staff are always warm, welcoming, very friendly and helpful when posed with questions about the various menu selections. We've been coming here for well over 7 years. Always, a pleasant experience.”

“Love eating here when we visit St Louis area, the owners remembered us from 4 years ago when we had a party for my birthday. They have a diet menu with steamed protein and veggies. I ordered D8 which is steamed prawns, chicken, and scallops with veggies, I told them to hold the carrots and baby corn. The cook misread the order and only sent Shrimp, we got the chicken and scallops soon after. Definitely a restaurant to eat at!!”

“Monark Cafe is a great place to grab a bite to eat. They are located in the lobby of the Orhopedic building off of Old Des Peres Rd. They have a great variety of food and it is always tasty! They have a chili that is out of this world! I often come here to get some chili for lunch even though I don't have business in the building. On top of that, the owners, Mark and Monica, are very nice and friendly! It's always a pleasure to get something to eat from Monark Cafe.”

“This longtime restaurant at Mason and Clayton roads is less well-known then some of the older Italian restaurants, but it is every bit as good as those big names down on The Hill. From the beautiful interior to the professional waiters to the large menu to the changing specials that are available every visit, this is a restaurant for a special occasion or more often if that's in your budget. There's an extensive wine list and a sommelier for your wine choices. Their halibut has always been perfectly cooked: a favorite of mine.”

“Second time going there today, and would gladly spend money here opposed to Panda Express. The noodles here aren’t nearly as dry as the ones at Panda Express. diverse workforce, great food! The specials pricing is a little confusing, so just be aware that when you order a special, it’ll be pricy.”

“So excited to have found this spot. Super fresh and flavorful. I had the vegan of the sea burrito and it was the best vegetarian sushi type meal I have ever had. Subtle and unique flavors and very layered flavors so every bite was special. Had a big smile on my face when I left.”

“Good food with great prices! The waitress was GREAT! She was very attentive and was very quick with refills and accommodating with our little guy who has special needs and diet restrictions. She even spoke a little sign language with him. We will definitely be back to bring our other boys. Our food came out fairly quick and the portions were huge! I am glad we found this hidden gem while looking for something new to try for us. It is always a bonus to find a new place that everyone can eat! See you soon!”

“Amazing! I got the pick 3 had smoked brisket, smoked chicken, and 1/2 rack baby back ribs .it was all so tender it melted in your mouth. My boyfriend had a smoked bbq pork steak it was about an inch thick and so tender you could mash it with your tongue. Just amazing!!!”

“This was our first time here. It was very busy but we were seated pretty quickly outside. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. I believe her name was Ann. I had the Blackened Fish Tacos and my husband had the Frisco Melt with chips. It was all very good. Generous portions of really tasty food with fast friendly service.”

“I've been going to Daily Bread for many many years. It's a staple in my household and the food is always good, as are the seasonal options. This time of year, I've been getting the Summer Salad and it's very good and refreshing. Especially with this aggressive heat. I don't usually get bakery goods, but the few times I have, they've been great!”

“If you're a big fan of free chips and salsa like I am, this is a must! The chips have a nice seasoning on them and the salsa has a nice roasted flavor to it. My margarita was very large but also good. I had a pastor burrito (a special) and it was solid, but it was a little skimpy on the steak. My tres leches cake for dessert was very good as well”

“This place is truly amazing. It's your traditional old school restaurant where quality and service are their top priority. For our budget it's definitely on the high side so unfortunately it's only for very special occasions. Dinner for my wife and I after tip was around $270. Make reservations in advance. If you leave here disappointed it's probably your own fault.”

“Had dinner out on the patio, it was a beautiful evening with the light breeze. Service was great. The crab appetizer was succulent, sweet crab meat and practically no filler! Drinks were spot on and the Salmon Fresca was absolutely delicious! Happy birthday to me...even though there was not a complimentary dessert.”
