“This place is fantastic. The service is helpful with the menu decisions and they were extremely friendly. I got a poke’ bowl both times I went. I like that I have so many fresh ingredient choices as toppings for the poke’ bowl. We also had the dumplings and those also had several choices to make to your liking. My 11 year old son loved the dumplings as well. My husband enjoyed his dumplings, especially since he had the choice to get them boiled. You can not go there without trying one of their hand-made milk teas. I had the honey-dew milk tea with tapioca (you can get it without). These milk-teas were absolutely amazing! With their fresh and tasty ingredients, the friendly and helpful employees, we will be regulars here at Dumplings and Tea, for sure! Thank you so much!!”

“This is a small business. I went in there last night to get pizza for my kids. We have been waiting for this place to open, and it did not disappoint! The wait was long, but you could tell that they were trying very hard to accommodate. As a new business, it’s typical to try to figure out the ebb and flow of things. I noticed several people being rude to the employees. Some things are out of their control when it comes to running out of supplies. I wish more people were kind, and empathetic. I would definitely give this place a try, it’s a great establishment, and that pizza was top notch as were the garlic bread bites. I’m sure as time goes on, they will know the supplies to stock for business needs. Let’s all practice a little more patience. I was disgusted by the attitudes of customers coming in. I’m excited to see newer restaurants opening in Fenton, especially coming off the pandemic. Five stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

“I work at the mall and mobile order a drink here before every shift. It always tastes great, and the staff is friendly. I can’t speak for how well they do with in person orders, since I haven’t done any in a while, but that being said, I highly recommend using the Starbucks mobile app. It’s very easy to use and very well implemented at the restaurant. Just order your drink 5-10 minutes before you get to the kiosk (depending on how busy the mall is), grab the drink, and skip the 15 minute wait.”

“Today was the Grand Opening and I was super excited to try as I’ve been following their social media and everything has looked good. I was not prepared for how busy it was going to be, but after a 15 minute wait we were seated. Our waitress was super polite and took our food order and quickly brought our beverages. After that things went downhill. We waited over an hour for our food. Our waitress did update us that things were taking a while but sheesh! When we finally got our food it looked good but everything was room temp. We ordered chicken and waffles (3wings) scrambled eggs, lyonnaise potatoes, grits and salmon croquettes. The chicken lacked seasoning, not even basic salt and pepper. The waffle was cold and had no butter or syrup accompanying it. I didn’t eat it. The croquettes were mushy and didn’t really have any veggies or seasoning. The scrambled eggs, grits and potatoes were the only things that were warm and they were flavorful. It’s sad because everything LOOKED so good. It smelled good in the establishment as well. And the music was on point! Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing.”

They don’t have their liquor license yet (they will soon) since they literally just opened, so they GIVE you a free drink with each entree. That’s great service, they’re thinking of the customer first. Don’t let this one fail folks, and as long as you come once you’ll want to come again, I promise you that. Don’t miss out on this place. I got the combo fajita. It has perfectly seasoned and cooked chicken, steak, shrimp, pulled pork, and chorizo and peppers, piled high. They don’t skimp on the proteins either. Very very good! “I’ve ate there two times now and I think the second time was even better than the first. For a brand new restaurant on the loop, this is perfect. The pricing couldn’t be better either for how fresh everything is. The sushi tastes amazing. I love the bento box with sides of everything because I get the chance to try it all instead of just eating a sushi roll. The box is also custom and just totally aesthetic. Working across the street may be dangerous as I feel myself becoming a frequent flyer at Katsuya. If you’re thinking about trying this place… just do it. Don’t think any further or read any more reviews... and then come back and write one since it was spectacular.”
