“So this place is always good. Tonight my hubby and I stopped in to have some oysters. Our plan was to restaurant hop and have an app at a couple of places. Kind of like a pub crawl. We decided there wasn't any place else we wanted to try so we stuck around and ordered a variety of things. Some clam chowder, some gumbo, hush puppies and calamari. Let me just say wow!! Everything was good. Least favorite to most here's my take- gumbo (this is literally the best gumbo I've ever had but they use oregano and I literally hate the taste of oregano), hush puppies - don't get me wrong, they're fantastic but there's more- calamari - very fresh and flavorful; oysters and I LOVE oysters- they just weren't the bay oysters I'm used to from this restaurant; then the clam chowder...... Oh the clam chowder....... Am I already married?? Yeah it's that good, and this girl grew up in New England. This chowder is literally the best I've ever had. Definitely worth the visit.”

“This is the only starbucks close to my house so I go here multiple times a week. I put 3 stars just because the people who work the morning shift are some of the best people; they are so friendly, good at their job, and they know my mom and I pretty well (as well as our order). That being said, I definitely prefer going in the mornings because whenever I go in the afternoons or nights it's a completely different experience. The people who work at the later shifts are rather mean, seem openly annoyed every time, & there hasn't been a single time where they've got my drink right first try (mind you that I've been going here for years). I have always had a hard time speaking up for myself whenever my order's wrong at any food place, and it's clear that they take advantage of that as much as they can. They had me pay $9 for my $4 drink once because I was in a rush and not paying attention to the price that much but realized after the fact. I can tell you that the reviews on this location are very much true to what its actually like, I don't know why they have such a hard time making drinks right, especially because my drink is literally one ingredient, and they get extremely upset and visibly annoyed whenever I ask them to remake a drink that I'm paying for. I think it's important to say that I use to work at starbucks, & it was my very first job so I know what it's like to deal with difficult customers in a high-stress environment and maybe that's why it's always so hard for me to correct them because the last thing I want to do is make their job harder. But it's gotten to a point where I just wish I could go and get my drink made correctly because getting a drink is the only thing I can do during this pandemic so it's really the only place I go.”
