I would have taken a picture but I was too busy listening to our attentive server and devouring delicious food and beverage. Unfortunately, I have forgotten our severs name but he was very kind and knowledgeable on the menu items. I was concerned ordering wine with unknown flavor profiles but he had all the answers I needed. He informed us of their own fresh farm-to-table items and workings as well as their other establishments not far away.. which is GREAT to know being that my husband and I are business owners in another state that utilizes as much farm-to-table product as we can. SO AWESOME!
The feel of the establishment, itself, was comfortable.. but not so comfortable that you would want to fall asleep. I have to applause them for that! I loved it.
We had scallops that were cooked perfectly.
The lobster bisque was a little different than I expected.. maybe they smoked something in it? It wasn’t bad though!
I also had a roasted dry rubbed salmon which was one of the best fillets of salmon I have had in a long time.
My husband and I made one of our own favorite desserts of just espresso and ice cream but they accommodated and it was the best way to end the night!
I’m not from Missouri but if someone mentioned to me they were traveling to or through St. Louis I would highly recommend.

Was in St. Louis last week and was recommended this establishment. Bourbon Bar got my interest immediately! Fantastic selection of bourbons and enjoyed them all. The steak was perfect for me. I'm more of a medium to well done but this cut was more medium but it was excellent. Plenty of excellent sides to share as well. Small place but atmosphere was decent for a Tuesday night. Its part of a larger complex of restaurants and bars. Will definitely stop in the next time I'm in town.

Amazing food, great service, great drinks. Had the 6 oz fillet, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. This was the best steak I’ve had in St. Louis, and the sides and specialty cocktails were also amazing. Very quaint and cozy restaurant. Everything was 5-star worthy.

Our server Griffin was excellent. He had good food and drink suggestions when asked without being pushy. They have a very nice selection of whiskeys, bourbons, and scotches with a heavy emphasis on domestic whiskeys. The scallop appetizer was everything scallops should be, tender but with a nice crust. My husband and I shared the 32oz. porterhouse steak special. The steak was tender, juicy, and flavorful. our veggie sides of brussels sprouts and wild mushrooms complemented the steak. Even if you already have a collection of take home boxes from dinner don’t miss the bread pudding with bourbon caramel sauce!

We had a long, relaxing dinner here and we didn't feel rushed at all. The menu is very aligned with what you would normally see at an American steakhouse. One of my favorites were the charcuterie board (cheese, meat, fruit, bread with an edible bacon fat candle!), the mixed greens salad and the desserts. When it came to the steak, it was exactly what you would expect with no frills, it was amazing. But you can also add one the sauces or butters. Presentation of everything was beautiful as well. This is definitely a nice addition to the St. Louis food scene.

I would recommend to make reservations and to arrive early. We didn’t wait much but the place was busy. We did go there on a Friday night. I would recommend to also go there a little early and enjoy a cocktail in the bar area. The lemon drop is amazing. Although most of the drinks we had were really strong.
