There was a small mix up with our order being taken by the delivery driver on accident and the workers were very polite and instantly started making another. “Recent remodeling has had a positive impact on the astetics of this location. However absolutely no improvement in customer service, order accuracy, or even the gratitude generally expressed by most businesses for choosing their business over others. Proper training and supervision to new hires is a part of the problem. But management is the biggest concern. When there is a problem brought to the managers attention, it is generally blown off and treated as the customer is the problem. And sometimes it is the customer, but order accuracy, and a simple Thank you for your business can go a long way.”

“The food was not to our kid's liking. Their chicken tenders tasted like fish batter. I did enjoy the peel and eat shrimp and the seasoning they used. I was not impressed with the waitresses slow response once we got here. She picked up the pace after her initial intro to us and she was friendly. Nothing wrong with our order, but for the price it wasn't as impressionable as I would have liked it to be. Also, I feel like most of the servers forgot to keep their masks over their noses.”

“My husband used to come here as a kid in the '80s with his family, and 30 years later, the pizza still rocks! Also, the decor and ambiance is still preserved, which in this day when everything is "new and improved" is a welcome change. I am so glad he shared this gem with me, because I looove pizza! I can relate to what sacrifices the employees must make. Dec. 24th is my daughter's Birthday! She chose Black Oak because of their excellent reputation for good food & service! “Really wanted to give this 4 or 5 because the food was phenomenal. Just not good enough to wait an hour and a half for it. The way the waiting list was handled was less than ideal. I’m sure it’s just a busy place because of the food but it could be executed better. We waited nearly an hour to be seated, we got seated and waited roughly 25 minutes to get drinks and place our order. By the time we received food I was ready to leave. I’m glad I stayed, the trash can nachos were the best nachos I’ve ever had. Hopefully they can work out a better way to handle rush with the hostesses and help out the wait staff with handling their tables in a more efficient way. I would go back to give them another chance. I just wouldn’t recommend going when you’re very hungry because of the wait.”
