Yoshitomo

The food is great. I'd love to give 5 stars, but I just can't after sitting in the side room with florescent lighting. It feels like an afterthought and a poor way to squeeze in a few extra seats. I will definitely go back but will only sit in the main dining room.

I'm not sure how a dining experience could be as good as it is at Yoshitomo. Came from out of state for the Omakase and it was the most phenomenal food and experience I've ever had. Chef Dave is also one of the most knowledgeable, coolest, down to earth people I've ever met and Jay took extremely good care of us during the Omakase as well. I wish I could give this place higher than a 5 star rating.

Courteous, quick service from host, server, and sushi chefs. I sat at the bar and was personally served by one of the chefs. I was satisfied with each dish I got. I could tell they had visions for the flavor profile they wanted with each item I tried and it seemed executed well to me, though my taster is experienced amateur I would say. The items I tried were not flavor profiles I favor necessarily, but I was highly satisfied with them nonetheless because of the quality ingredients and execution.

Yoshitomo has become our go to dining experience while visiting Omaha. The fish is always fresh, yes in Nebraska. The chef special and tasting plates are a must try and a decadent experience- I really suggest the yaki gandara or 5. You will not be disappointed

Really unique food that is prepared excellently! Good value for your money too. Service was excellent especially given how busy they are.
