“Went because my son-in-law wanted to eat here for a birthday dinner. Was not disappointed at all with the greeting, service, atmosphere or the food. Not being biased, but I was with a group of 7 and all were family; which I know added to a good time; but if something was “eh”about anything about the restaurant, I would not hesitate to say so. It had very a beautiful and lively atmosphere and you could see that they are very proud of their heritage, which is awesome! From the homemade chips, fresh guacamole and 3 levels of heat for salsa was only the beginning! Wish I could remember the names of the food that was ordered, so I will have to let the pictures speak for themselves! Would recommend this place to all that love authentic Mexican cuisine!”

“Just found this place by accident. The food was wonderful! The rice bowl was the perfect size for me and the Honey Mustard sauce was a perfect touch to the chicken. My food was nice and hot and no complaints about the chicken being fried correctly. It was so delicious. The only complaint I have is that it's expensive. “Service was great! The expo/manager was SO great, drink runner/manager SO kind. All employees were absolutely fantastic, maybe bartenders have a little more energy, but they were attentive and nice. Boudin Balls 100%, side salad 100%, crab dip (OK, I would add something with a bit of texture, maybe fried shallots? Serve with cucumbers and celery? Cajun Chicken was very good, I would suggest topping with full chicken breast and slice to order, the chicken was very dry. Flavor was good, maybe add some veggies (peppers and onions) and a tad of red pepper flakes, fresh garlic. Po Boy 100%, Jambalaya 100%. I was sad the patio wasn't open on such a nice night :( Great Job everyone and keep it up!”

“A very very diverse menu. From Philly sandwiches, burgers to Mexican and Central American and Caribbean cuisine. The oxtail platter was fantastic. Super tender oxtail in a stew that is so flavorful that you know it took time to make. The rice and beans and greens side were the perfect compliment. “Excellent service and one specific manager (didn't get her name unfortunately) made my daughter's birthday extra special. Only issue was asking for no mushrooms and getting mushrooms on our pizza. Not even sure I'd call it an issue because they immediately apologized And offered a new one. I declined because we had other food and were basically done eating, but unknown to me they made us a new one anyways and gave it to us to take home. Great staff and seems like this place has really improved since I was there years ago.”

“This place was nice and quiet at around 4:15 on a Tuesday evening. I originally chose this place because I was looking for excellent French dip. However when I read their menu and discovered their French dip does not feature a cheese on it, I changed my mind and ordered something else. I got their loaded potato soup and the grilled pork chops with their creamy mashed potatoes. It was impressed by just how creamy the potatoes were actually. It was blissful. The chops were tender and flavorful. I wish they would have had some sort of fruit glaze with it. Apple, peach or apricot would have been phenomenal. I got the house salad instead of the baked beans. It was good with the usual things added. Chopped boiled egg, croutons and cheese. The croissant with it was light and fluffy too. I would have enjoyed some butter with it though.”

“My family and I are very happy about the late hours that this location stays open because the only other place open late at night is Taco Bell, and no thank you! The fries are pretty good. The Texas toast is pretty good but could use more flavor and could be cooked a bit longer as it's not very toasted. The chicken is good. We like to dip our strips in the Canes sauce with some hot sauce added to it or the honey mustard. And of course the iced sweet tea and the lemonade are very refreshing!”
