“We were warmly greeted and really enjoyed the service at Rusty Taco West. It's set up like a beach taco shack and you order at the counter. Definitely a casual joint. A manager went out of her way to get my husband soda water from the pop machine. I was lucky to get in on the last day of the cauliflower tacos. If you like the occasional veg option, please join me in begging them to bring these back! The pico tasted fresh, good cilantro, great pickled onion. All of the main meats and the breaded cauliflower we had were pre-packaged. I was hoping for some signature meat that was made in house. We tried tacos: crispy cauliflower, steak fajita, chicken fajita, and bbq brisket nachos. I wish they would have been more clear about what level of spicy items were. The bbq sauce in the nachos was at the top of my tolerance. Next time, I would get no sauce and add the super tasty mild tomatillo salsa. The pico had a lot of fresh jalapenos we picked out. The tacos were all great, if assembled from Sysco items. The pico really made them sing. The nachos though were a bummer. The chips were very crisp and there was a ton of meat, but they went downhill from there. They come with that arena fake cheese goop and shredded cheese. I asked for no "queso" and did not get any extra cheddar instead. And there was very little cheddar or pico or any toppings. Even rationing them out, we quickly ran out of toppings. We brought home half of the meat and chips plain. Then, some of our meat was ice cold, at best room temp. I would have expected nachos to have been melted under the salamander, but the cheddar was cold along with the meat. They should cut down the meat, increase the toppings, and make sure they are hot. We were happy to have finally tried it but with so many amazing Mexican/taco places in town, probably won't be in heavy rotation for us.”

“Fancy newer theater. Popcorn is good! New drink machines- tons of choices. They wouldn't take my movie card from AkSarBen Cinema Rewards card (same owners i read) & didn't say if they had one there to sign up for. People were behind me so i didn't ask. Entrance to Back Lot Restaurant is in the main theater entrance - turn left. You can take their to-go pizzas into the theater. But I would suggest giving yourself time to eat in the restaurant as there's a lot more food choices and a good drink menu. Pizzas are served on a rack so they stay crispy. Service was good. You can get seated in a quiet area away from music if you want. The location is a nightmare to get to if you're unfamiliar with the area. Is in a newer residential area of Gretna West of Hwy 6. (North of Hwy 370). Use GPS. But it is beautiful. Walk is very long from parking lot to theater front door, so dress accordingly.”

Today I was disappointed because instead of dropping new fries when I ordered through the drive through they used fries that were sitting in the fry area not fresh. I can tell they’re not fresh due to the amount of time it takes to get my apartment is 4 minutes. When I bit into the first fry I thought it was just a fluke so I tried a couple more. Cold, flimsy, and little seasoning. I enjoyed my steak bowl but I didn’t feel like paying for those fries was worth the $ at all. Please fry fresh fries for drive through orders too and not just in the store”

“We held a baby shower at the Papillion VFW party room (upper level, with its own entrance off the street). It was very affordable compared to many other potential locations, and the person in charge of renting the facility was super easy to work with and very friendly. The facility was larger than what we needed, but again, it was the best price. The facility has a nicely waxed tile floor that would be great if dancing, and then a carpeted area, which we didn't use other than as a staging area for unused tables and chairs. There's a fireplace feature on wall and a large screen TV on the other. There is a patio area for smokers. The kitchen was nice but either there is no access to the drawers (if needing any towel, wash cloths, etc for clean up) or they just didn't give us the key to unlock the drawers. I'm not sure, so just in case, bring in your own cleaning supplies. Bathrooms were clean and there's a fresh coat of paint on the wall. A perfect blank canvas for your party needs.”

“Surprisingly, there was no wait to be seated on a Friday night. Staff was attentive---offering frequent refills---but there was quite the wait to get our food, though we did have a large order. Having seen it on other tables, we ordered our sushi in a wooden boat, but since both of their boats were occupied, we paid boat price for plated sushi. Despite that, the presentation was beautiful, and the sushi was flavorful and filling. Stopping by the bathroom, the room was hot and stuffy, which was a stark contrast to the dining area. The prices were steep, but the proximity to home makes it worth keeping as a fancy outing go-to.”
