Mariscos Nayarit VIP

We went here when they first opened. It had mariscos in the name.... So good. This is a very good restaurant everything is fresh, hand made and good. We have been here a few times. Good every time.

I have had two wonderful dinners from Mariscos, the first was the garlic shrimp and the second the stuffed fillet. The service was great and food was delicious. Well worth stopping bye.

We have lived in Carson City for a long time and there is a Mexican restaurant on East Winnie Lane in a shopping center where Goodwill used to be, that we always go to. It was a hole in the wall but has quadrupled in size and is now unbelievably crowded. And for good reason, their food is delicious. But I saw this new restaurant when driving through town the other day and so we thought we would give it a try. Let me tell you, it is amazing. The chips and bean dip were the hands down best in town. I had pescado rellenos con camerones which is a fish fillet stuffed with shrimp and cheese. And it was to die for. My husband had a shrimp quesadilla and he said it was very good. It certainly was chock full of cheese and shrimp. The service was great and prices were reasonable. If you try this place you will come back! It doesn't seem like any restaurant that opens in that location lasts very long. I don't know if it's because it's buried underground and no one sees it, or what. But please give it a try. Wow. It may be our new favorite Mexican food place in town.
