Hobak Korean BBQ

It's good, but they should take certain things off the menu although it's complimentary such as the cold/ ice soup. Kimchi was not the greatest. The meat we got were really good. We loved the ice cream. We got every flavor. Staff was nice and bathroom was decent. Fyi they charge a credit card fee of $12 which is about 4 percent of our bill plus they added gratuity of 8 or more in which they didn't disclose on my receipt the percentage. Because of the CC fee and they hid my percentage of my automatic gratuity fee is why a give them a 3 Star.

The food here was okay, the decor was great, loving the street vendors vibe. Customer service was terrible, they forgot our rice and we asked for it twice until we got it and we had to keep asking for a water refill. they also forgot our ice cream at the end which come with our meal. They just weren’t attentive to us.

My wife and I have been going to Hobak for years and today we decided to dine in. Service was great, and we didn't have to wait at all for our table of 4 for Friday night dinner. Our most favorite item here has got to be their Soft Tofu Stew (which is enough for 2 people and comes with a bowl of rice). Beef is our favorite but the pork is great too. It is a little spicy so be warned (I am a level 8 kind of spicy guy and this was solid spice level 4 to me).

I'm not a huge fan of Soft Tofu Stews but this place is the best I've ever had. Their Angus fried rice is also great. Can't speak for their BBQ yet, but when we're craving this soup or fried rice, this is our go-to spot and we usually order it to go. When ordering to go they also include banchans (Korean side dishes). Give it a try.

This has ruined Korean BBQ forever. I will never be able to find a place that is this good for a good while. I had the family combo #3 and everything that came with it (including the sides) was outstanding. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend stopping here if you get the chance.

We arrived at the at the restaurant around 7 pm on a Saturday night. We were told that the wait would be 30-40 mins. We were seated within 30 mins. Banchan (side dishes) were plentiful and tasty. We got a combo for 2 people ($94) and we were happily stuffed. Everything was so tasty (beef ribs, brisket, pork belly, spicy pork). Staffs helped to grill the meat. They also served ice cream for dessert as part of the combo.
