“I lived for many years in east Los angels aera and I feel that my opinion of Mexican food has a good foundation. The food at Los Polomas is top notch the carnitas is excellent and the chili reano dinner is hard to beat! I highly recommend this restaurant and the Panaderia is fresh bread and sweets every day in house and they make custom cakes too! If you want good Mexican food look no further!”

“Initially, when I first moved to Reno about 7 years ago this bakery/coffee shop was AMAZING especially on Valentines day! Sadly, the more popular it has become the lower quality on some of the bakery items offered. Like rancid almonds in a cowboy cookie that was supposedly freshly made.”

“Had the veggie crepes and all-American breakfast, and it was outstanding. Veggie crepes are very good, and there's nothing to hide behind: there's no gooey sauce or spicy sausage, just beautifully sauteed vegetables in perfectly-made crepes - masterful. Eggs and bacon were excellent, and the service was kind and attentive but not intrusive. Strongly recommended.”

“Don't live in Reno, but always try to stop here on the way through. Great donuts/cronuts! And really good breakfast bagels (get the "Hot Mess")! It's quiet and not overly crowded. Seriously recommended!”

“Very friendly staff and great bagels. My wife got the basic sausage bagel sandwich and I got the bacon sandwich on a Dutch crust bagel. Both were delicious. Bacon and sausage were very flavorful, eggs tasted fresh, and the bagels we're a perfect consistency for a sandwich. I personally wouldn't get the Dutch crust again as it didn't add any forgot, but they do have a huge selection of bagel types to try from. Reasonable prices as well. Coffee was basic, nothing special, but I didn't expect anything special. Definitely worth going to and will be a regular stop for me whenever I pass through Reno.”

“I don't care for the muffins, something in the after-tatse is like when you mess up cornbread. If anyone reading this review could explain the taste science behind this phenomena, I'd be grateful. The bagels are another story. Freaking tastey. I just had breakfast, and writing this review makes me want to load up all my babies, and drive down there to eat one.”

“I went with a friend and we were both blown away by the selection of treats in the cases. So many to choose from! An elderly lady was sitting near the door, smiled at us and said, "I've been coming here almost every day since they opened. Trust me, girls, it's all delicious. You can't choose anything you won't love!" Nearly 40 years she's been coming to Josef's and that right there is the best recommendation I could ever receive or give. Plus the staff was so sweet to her, and good to us while we took forever to make a selection. ????”

“I have always loved Einstein bagels. Back before carbs were evil I ate them every week. Now, not so much. When I do want a bagel Einstein's is where are go. Big selection of flavors (sweet and savory), freshly made, and prices are reasonable. I will usually pick up six or a bakers dozen along with a tub of the cream cheese. They offer sweet and savory flavors in this as well. The staff is always friendly and keep the line moving forward. (There always is a line) Great sandwiches as well.”

“Awesome service, awesome Garlic bagels. First time I've ever had one toasted with butter, and I loved it. About 50 ways to have your bagel, not including the variety of flavored bagels.”
