“Our bar tender when we visited was pretty fantastic. Besides just taking our order and preparing our drinks he went out of his way to check on us and see if we need anything. He made my martini perfect for what I asked for and the burgers there are always fantastic. I loved the fries and I'm going to see if I can get lemon to try on them next time. Pool is a great price and I think this is a wonderful hidden gem of Hudson. Whether you're looking for good food or a place to play pool at a decent price, this is a great choice.”

“Like all other stores it's usually a hit or miss on quality and service. My experience has been to stay away in early evening. Morning service and quality is usually a safe bet as is noon. If you call the number listed on outdoor pickup window don't expect a response. The help is under paid even while the company has billions of $ not burgers to buy back stock.”

“My first visit here was on 2/15/19 when a friend treated me to lunch. Lots of beer choices. I opted for the lower alcohol content in "Snow Squall". Very good flavor. My meal selection was the "Fin of the Day" -- a fried haddock sandwich. It was perhaps the BEST fish sandwich I ever ate. Very fresh, tender, and flaky. A light coating on the fish really couldn't hold it together, so it was a little messy, but just as tasty when eaten with a fork! Served on a thick bun with lettuce, tomato, and just the right amount of tartar sauce. My friend ordered the bison burger, medium rare. A generous-sized burger, which she said tasted good, but it was definitely over-cooked. Hardly any pink. Both meals came with a large portion of seasoned fries which were also very good. Service was friendly and timely. The restaurant was about half full at noon on a Friday.”
