My happy place. The Old Ferry Landing is nostalgic. Standing on the deck, craft brew in hand at sunset, overlooking the tugboats and over the water to Badgers Island, reminiscing about my days as a hopeless romantic at UNH back in the mid 80s. The patrons are still friendly and lively. A decent selection of cocktails and draft beer too.
Delicious lobster roll and fried haddock. Beautiful deck if you enjoy eating outside like I do! Will definitely return here.
Our waiter wasn't great but the food was fabulous! We ordered the seafood platter, which had plenty of tasty, fried shrimp, clams, haddock and scallops. We also had the seafood stuffed haddock with crab and shrimp which was delicious with a creamy broth and I had the combo plate of haddock and scallops which was fried with a nice portion of fish and the coleslaw was great.
The atmosphere was nice, sitting on the deck over the water. We will definitely go back, we've been there three other times and have always enjoyed our meals.
Food was delicious! Seafood was amazing. The server was really nice. The view of the water was beautiful. What are you doing still reading this go and eat here!!!!
A friend and I had an excellent meal here after The Portsmouth Pride activities. It was very busy, but we were able to get right in and seated on the deck overlooking the water. I ordered the broiled scallops and my friend ordered the fried clams. The food was tasty. The staff was also very nice, upbeat, and friendly. I am very glad to have had the opportunity to stop here.
