The Goat, Portsmouth

Arriving just before noon let me choose breakfast or lunch. I wasn't egg-static about the omelette that I ordered for breakfast. It was a little overcooked. Last time I had the TB 12 goat burger and shoestring fries, which were very good, and reasonably priced.

Awesome sports bar and even better if you're a New England fan!! Our server JJ was super nice and she was very attentive! Perfect location in downtown Portsmouth. They serve food till ten which was nice since we got there at almost 9:30. The Steak Tacos were huge a so good. The steak was tender and not fatty. I didn't catch the name of the girl that was singer this past Thursday night (8/8/19) but she could sing!! Definitely will be going back there again, great atmosphere and friendly staff!!

Good drinks! Country western style place with live music. Stays 9pen late and serves late. Tots are really good.

The Goat is a shiny, clean, well designed, friendly place. I didn't sample the food, tempting as it was. But the whiskey selection, and prices, are great. Jo was my server, and she was wonderful. If you want to drink and you like a proper Irish bar or high end tequila...here's a great option.

Cool place. On the small side as far as tables go. Large bar. Was there for early dinner. Great crowd. Delicious food. Great whiskey offerings. Forgot to add: If you like perfectly done bacon, get the Bacon Bucket, you will not be disappointed!
