“I am a flooring contractor and have been doing some work right up the road. This place makes you appreciate small town local convenience. The coffee is fresh, breakfast sandwiches wrapped in foil have been consistent and a great start to my work day. Staff is friendly and easy to talk with. Seating inside or outdoors is inviting and casual. They also have a huge donut selection that constantly tempts me on my way to the register. I will definitely have one tomorrow for national donut day! Great place to stop on your way through 👍”

“The Sweet Spot is a real find. Everything is made from scratch, with ingredients you know the names of! The breakfast sandwiches come on a fresh made biscuit, and the sandwiches on home-made bread. The desserts are to die for. The lemon bars are super lemony, the eclairs are unbelievably rich and creamy, and even the donuts taste light and fresh. The bakery used to be known for its pies, and owner/baker Jackie has been improving on them. I’ve only had time to try to one, and I picked my favorite strawberry rhubarb. Both the crust and the filling were great. Jackie says the key lime pie is her best, so I have to try that next. The place itself is bright and cozy. It’s a nice spot to sit and enjoy some coffee and conversation. Chat with the new owners, Jackie and Jim. They are anxious to please. (They are not the grumpy owners mentioned in reviews from last year.) They take into account what their customers say and, as an example, have started baking some gluten free products because customers requested them. Long-time local residents, Jackie is an experienced baker who decided to open her own shop. She uses only fresh ingredients, and she knows what she’s doing with them! Jim is an old hand at breakfast treats and sandwiches. He’s introduced his grandmother’s pork pie (“Big Ma’s” pie). That’s a take-away item and I haven’t tried it yet, but other customers were raving about it. I highly recommend trying this place.”

“I get to visit this place because my wife loves it. The fries are light and crispy (always cooked to order) and each item I've tried shows they care. This week was the steak and cheese, as good as it gets. Don't even give the ice cream a second thought - just dive in. I'm glad it's only on the way to camp - otherwise I'd be accused of being a resident. Update, although the food rocks I have brought others here in the last few months. They need to cure the issue with wait time. Over 50 minutes on both visits and you can see the chaos in the crew.”
