“So glad we gave this place a try after the sleek and loud world of the casinos. Nestled along the waters edge, Gilchrist is a comfy, down-home restaurant with a maritime atmosphere. It had excellent service, very good breakfasts and the best coffee I ever had. I even drank it black! Happy that they served grits as a side option too. Omelets were nicely filled with cheese, etc. Blueberry pancakes were really good! Prices were average, regular size portions. I can’t wait to go back for the coffee again!”

“A friend recommended the bourbon ice cream they have and man was it good! The bourbon isn't over powering but you still get a nice build up of flavor. I also think there is caramel bourbon ripples in it. I'll definitely have to come back to this quaint delicious creamery!”

“Ive been coming here for years. Best place for drinks in a mason jar. They may be pricey but totally worth it. They limit you 2 for a reason. The food has gotten alot better. And the staff is always friendly. The best part is they allow dogs in the outside area so you get to see all the cute pups!”

“The calamari appetizer was great. The soup trio, eh. The spinach salad with warm bacon dressing was nice. The flounder francaise was a little too breaded, not your typical francaise, a bit heavy. The grilled shrimp and scallop special was ok but the seafood was over charred and the taste was lost in spice and char, not seafood. Sadly, the linguine was the best part of both entrees. The chocolate souffle with raspberry glaze was very nice but not a hint of chocolate in it??? Its presentation was lovely but again, no chocolate. Wouldn't rush back but wouldn't turn down another try either.”

“I've been coming here on the marina for many years. You can get here by bus, car and boat. There are 630 floating slips for yachts up to 300 feet in length. The rooms are nice size with brown orange tones. The staff is friendly. Housekeeping does a great job cleaning and responds quickly to request. Friday is seafood buffet night. A buffet selection of land to sea. There's a large sport bar and every other kind of bar you may be seeking. It's a small casino compared to others in AC. Slots machines aren't paying much but I'm a small gambler and they say you have to pay big to win big. The H20 pool and the hot tubs aren't available now because it's outside. In the warm months it's nice and sunny for getting that right tan. The Deck bar is outside on the marina featuring live music with a dance floor. I truly enjoy the Golden Nugget when I visit.”

“Visited the Bill's Bar & Burger at the Golden Nugget Casino in Atlantic City. Nachos were great. Just the right amount of topping for the tortilla chips you get. The burgers were ok. Not the best, but certainly not the worse. I'd go again. There are other places that will give more for the same money.”

“While the prices are a little high (which is to be expected since it's in a casino), the sushi is always fresh and delicious. The noodle bowls are also very good. Unfortunately, the quality of the service during my most recent visit was terrible. We waited forever to have our order taken, were never checked on, and had to track down our waiter just to get the bill. While this might be acceptable if the restaurant was packed, there's no excuse for it when only a handful of other people were present. I settled on 4 starts because the sushi chef made or good quickly and it was so good. For service, I'd give 1 star. During previous visits the service was significantly better, although never excellent. Still, worth checking out if you are not in a rush!”

“I dined at Martorano’s tonight and let me just say I was delighted. I was a little hesitant at first because of the prices but it is truly worth it. Joe, our server, was so nice and friendly and he made sure we were taken care of. The manager even came over and asked us how our meal was. The entire atmosphere was great, from the music to the nostalgic music. I would greatly recommend this place for some great Italian food!”

“Actually my meal was very flavorful. I had the new age surf and turf. But when we got our meal it was cold, as if it was sitting for 20 minutes before it was served to us. I had the chocolate bag dessert. The cream tasted old like it was in a refrigerator forever. The cream took on the other flavors that were in the refrigerator.”

“Hands down my favorite buffalo chicken pizza ever! I usually order it with extra mozzarella and extra blue cheese. It is very filling but so delicious. The chicken is sweet with a little spice... much better, in my opinion, than traditional buffalo sauce. Also, delivery is free and their prices are really good. If you are staying at a casino, have them deliver it!”
