“I brought a late lunch to some people and they decided on this place. They ordered salads and I went with the tuna wrap. I called in my order and it was difficult putting in the order with the lady. I had to repeat several times and go through my order over again like she wasn't comprehending. I don't know what the deal was. They make you pay over the phone fyi. When I arrived I parked on the street but keep in mind parking in this area is tough. I walked in and they were a little busy. I went to the pick up area and the nice man gave me my food and I left. When I dug in the side salad was tasty and the wrap wasn't bad. It was a decent tuna wrap. All in all I had an ok experience.”

“Nice to have an African and Caribbean market in the area. It is very modern, clean, and well organized. Very friendly staff as well. They honestly have a plethora of items and is pretty well stocked- but I am taking off one point as I went on two different occasions (once for potato leaves and once for luncheon meat), they didn’t have either items. I was a bit disappointed because these are very standard items in African Markets. Besides that, great asset to the Teaneck area and looking forward to continue to patronize this business.”

“Just finished an amazing meal from here. Forgot to ask the woman behind the counter her name but she was superb. She let me try a few things and was super helpful. I got rice and beans with goat stew. A beef samosa and a small egusi. Everything was excellent. Will go again and recommend any reader of this to try the place.”

“I was very very happy that I ordered today! The staff was super helpful and kind. We ordered over the phone, and the food was delivered earlier than they had originally estimated. The food was absolutely delicious! We got 3 things from the lunch menu. (2 sandwiches and an order of chicken fingers) The portions were large and the side chips were super yummy. “This is our neighborhood sushi restaurant. I can't tell you the difference new ownership has made. The sushi was mediocre in its previous iteration. Under new ownership, this restaurant has made slight decor updates, but significant food quality improvements. My daughter and I went a couple of months ago when they reopened. It was the first day, the service staff was mostly confused and short on many some items. Since then our family has eaten here 8 or 10 times. The sushi is of good quality, fish is fresh and the lunch buffet is a great bargain. We are grateful that we now have a fantastic eating option in walking distance of our home. As long as prices don't go up, I highly recommend sushi house.”
