“I went earlier to the People's Choice Restaurant today and as usual the oxtail and rice and peas was on the money. My compliments to the chef. We have a couple of west Indian restaurants in Montclair where I live the food is always to spicy for me. I like adding a little extra hot sauce to mine. When you are cooking for the public you can't make it as spicy like you might cook for your family. If you want real authentic west Indian food make sure you check out the People's Choice Restaurant.”

“My goodness! I ordered grilled shrimp, greens, and Mac and cheese; the shrimp were finger sucking good! I’ll definitely return to try other items on the menu. The menu doesn’t say grilled shrimp but I asked and boy am I glad I did (I try to avoid fried foods). I recall ordering grilled shrimp at another establishment (on the menu) and I was served sautéed shrimp. This owner knows what grilled should taste like!”
