“Overall good. Ordered cocktail reseveration rye - excellent taste but pour could be more generous and stronger in alcohol content. Beet salad - excellent. Black bass - good but did not come with a side which it should, tasted great but looked bare on plate. Ambiance warm beautiful American style. Service excellent. 4 stars but wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a 5 star place.”

“They really need a separate star system for reviewing restaurants. It would be a disservice to the business to give it anything less than 5 stars because they make amazing food. However, if ever an establishment needed service kiosks its The Dancing Blender. The food is delicious but the culture of customer service leaves a million little things to be desired. I'd go into further detail, but every experience from every staff member is different and I'm sure they are just adopting the style of the owner. The difference is when you are the owner and head chef you deserve to be a smidgeon of arrogant with a dash of unpleasant. But the cashiers need a huge heaping dose of sit down and be humble. It's like a Seinfeld episode come to life. The food is so good but if I had a choice between being helped by the staff or a malfunctioning computer I'd pick the computer with all the glitches each and every time. Go there with headphones and your personal angel on your shoulder or better yet phone in your order and minimize the time you have to spend interacting with 'one of them' and you'll be hooked. Or just have high expectations for food and ZERO expectations of halfway decent customer service.”

“This is our favorite local sushi place. For me, the all-you-can-eat menu is helpful, since I tend to like choosing specific sushi, which can end up costing a bunch at other restaurants. The sushi is generally always high quality and the menu addresses one of my pet peeves in the area (greater NYC), which is that many sushi items are listed on the menu, but other restaurants don't actually have the fish available. Harusame pretty much always has what's listed on the menu. My wife likes the cozy atmosphere and the service is very good. Parking can be an issue, since Harusame has a tiny parking lot which is shared with another business. Street parking is normally available close by.”
