He customized the menu for our half jamaican family and all were incredibly impressed and asked to take home leftovers! The food is outrageous: not your typical catering. Delicious and beautifully presented (white platters no chafing dishes). You’ll want to eat the marinara with a spoon. The backyard is adorable and spacious: easily fit 50 people. We will find reasons to celebrate and always make One12 our first destination. We will be back often as soon as we finish these amazing leftovers.”

“Great restaurant at great location. It’s a really nice setup with bar and brick over taking the center stage. Food menu is elaborate. In appetizers we tried French onion soup, steamed mussels and steak tartar. All were good flavors. Steak tartar was more lemony for my palette. We had old fashion (which was average and did not have depth) but other cocktails were good. For main we had rack of lambs, mushroom risotto and skirt steak. All were good. Only down side was the noise level in my he restaurant. It’s a loud place so don’t expect to go here and have a quiet chat. All in all great experience.”

“Dinner for 4 on a Wednesday in January. Room and service were good but food is very very average. The flounder on brussel sprout salad was the best of 4 dishes. The broiled oyster appetizer and branzino fillet was not good at all. It was a hot table when it opened but its cooling down now that the food isn't living up. My local neighbors have tried it with a similar opinion. No repeat visits.”

“I couldn’t give a 2.5 so I’m giving a 3. Honestly, I didn’t hate anything, but I didn’t really like anything either. We were seated outside on the far end near the frame shop and no one came to take our order for what felt like substantial amount of time. That being said, our waitress was very nice and apologetic. She really was not the problem. We arrived at 7:50 put our order in around 8’ish, our first dish (spicy, raw, cucumbers) didn’t come out until 9. It is BYOB with option to use their mixes. We brought tequila and used their “just add tequila” mix. I liked it, subtle flavor, my boyfriend did not like it at all. I think a bit steep for $8/glass for my own tequila. We ordered: spicy cucumber, Bok Choy, Dan Dan noodles (the noodles were not noodles and in fact 1.5” long “noodles”. The way you cut up food for your toddler and difficult to eat with a chopstick or fork), the fried chicken boa (which was the best thing), and soup dumplings. This place is brand new and I understand that every restaurant needs to work out its kinks. I will try It again in the future but was extremely unsatisfied with the timing and flavor of food. Did not leave a good first impression. I hope management can work out the timing from the kitchen.”
