“One of the few spots left in Hoboken that has live bands! That alone is worth 5 stars to me. There is a good variety of bands that play, plus bluegrass night. I wouldn't say that it's a craft beer-focused pub but they have enough interesting beer to keep me happy. I've been to a couple of birthday parties in the upstairs room which is a nice option too if you want to have a private event but don't have space (or don't want to torment your neighbors) at home.”

We ordered a plain cheese pizza and Caesar salad and the pizza was very good with excellent cheese and a great crunchy crust. The sauce was plain, though, and needed a little work. The Caesar salad was very good, clean-tasting with a tasty Caesar dressing. Great service and about $40 for a pizza , salad, and 3 drinks. No free refills for a tiny 8 oz soda, but I asked and the waiter was kind enough to give us a refill free of charge.”

“This review has been updated due to positive response from management. Food quality is typically above average relative to the price. Yesterday the salad ingredients were very fresh. The pizza was cooked just right, the sauce and toppings good. Service on some days is good, sometimes slow. Upon arrival we waited more than 10 minutes for initial touch by server who didn't show up until later. We we ended up going to the bar to get our own cocktails. Server rarely visited our table, was sitting at a rear table with other servers snacking. Although she was friendly and pleasant, we had to seek her out to get her attention. Management did reach out to us regarding this visit. We greatly appreciate his effort and plan to visit again soon. The food is usually fresh and well presented, we'll give it another try.”
