“The food is very good. Great beer selection, atmosphere is nice, there is a fire place. It's a great place to meet up with friends. Also, a good place to eat before the movies. I give 4 stars because the tables are a little cramped and you get bumped a bit as people pass through. Also, bathrooms could be better but, it is a bar. Ladies room had no lock which upset the wife.”

“Love black coffee and desserts there. Its carrot cake is moist in the way I like it. Apple cream cheese is superb. It becomes our favorite! The breakfast is good. Even when it is packed, the service is still friendly.”

“This place use to be One Republic. I like what they did with the place. It’s more like a sports bar however, it can get packed and take forever to get drinks. Some of the bartenders give off the I don’t want to be bothered more less take your drink order (women) the guys on the other hand are pretty happy and can make good drinks. Went there a few times with coworkers. I don’t mean to sound bias but that’s what I got from the place.”

“Vegetarian review: If you're vegetarian, then you basically have two options for your main filling - cauliflower or breaded tofu. Both are a disappointment for the ~$10 you will end up paying for your meal. I only tried the sandwich and not the wrap or the bowls and I must say that it was a big disappointment. There are some fundamental flaws IMO in what Sauced offers in the construct of their sandwiches. 1. The bread. Their regular bread is basically way too thick and tough; not only detracting but taking away from anything you choose to fill in-between. 2. The severe limitations in 'topping. For a $9 sandwich - the limitations on toppings does not help with the bread situation. You can only choose two items to add to your sandwich including absolute basics such as lettuce, tomato, onions, banana/jalapeno peppers, etc. This is abysmal since so many of these items are just bottled. While the shishito peppers and lettuce (my toppings) were a bit less - the main fillings are more than enough to fill you up if that's your prime expectation. 3. Sauce strategy. What exactly are they trying to accomplish by limiting the number of sauces? Some sauces go with others to create better and deeper flavors so it's tough to pick one here especially when there is also such a severe constraint on the toppings. The vegetarian fillings: While the breaded tofu has some flavor due to seasoning in the breading, the cauliflower has a distinct Asian spice tone to it and is overall bland. The cauliflowers are closer to being boiled and I wished that they were instead more heavily sauteed with spices. If you're looking for sauces for heat, I can warn you that they have none. The Pineapple Heat sauce which is advertised as their spiciest does not hot a candle to even the Hot level sauces at Taco Bell - so prepare to be disappointed If you're a Fire Sauce guzzler.”

“Being a hoboken native, I have tried all the sushi places in town. I absolutely love sushi House here on 1st. The sushi is always super fresh and they always have generous lunch specials. My go to is the any 3 roll lunch special for $12.95 that comes with soup or salad. The staff is always super friendly and inviting. Nice intimate vibe to relax and enjoy in. Highly recommend!”

“The tapas style brunch menu was amazing, the idea of such differing flavors and plates was genius ! The price was excellent, included bottomless champagne & as many repeats as you wish. Will most definitely visit again, as I was blown away with the excellent service, food and drink. The view of the city as you dine is spectacular.”

“Fun, local, great beer. Seriously, what more do you want in a place? The staff is amazingly helpful and cooperative. The place enhances it's charm by the beautiful and very subtle music that they play. Great ambiance and drinks! I went when there was happy hour (prices are decent). It's a neat place to hang out.”

“I always have a great meal here. I highly recommend asking for seating on the second floor, it's a much better environment and much quieter. The food is delicious. Pay attention to the specials they're always creative and you can tell the chef is passionate about the items on it. On the menu I can't get enough of their garlic steak and frites. Drooling thinking about it.”

“Beer is cold and the staff is fun. Food very tasty and priced accordingly. Pool table needs a lot of work. Rails are dead, felt is very dirty and there is no bridge. A good strong vacuum job would go a long way.”

“Ordered from here through seamless. Originally the driver messed up my order, but called the restaurant and they issued a refund and sent a replacement. They were incredibly helpful. On top of that the food was delicious. We got a Detox Smoothie and Açaí bowl and they were both amazing. Highly recommend.”

“I like Cluck U, I used to eat at the shop on westside in jersey city when I was a kid and this chain still preserved that same charm and awesome hot wing sauce taste. This particular restaurant is clean with friendly staff. I think the food used to be a little bit better (chicken sandwich was somewhat dry), but it still tastes really delicious when you are starving and want hot wings. The price has always been quite high for what you are getting, so keep that in mind (you are going to spend $10-15 per person). Not bad.”

“Perfect spot for a hearty breakfast. When you want to grab something quick in the morning and Schneckenbergs is too far or you just don't feel like eating classic fried eggs come to La Isla. Today I had poached eggs with hot sauce in crunchy tortilla bowl on beans with rice and loved it. Service was attentive and very quick, place was busy but not packed, I'll most definitely be back soon.”

“Such an amazing find! This mom and pop shop, is hands down one of the best Korean restaurants I've been to. I would go every day if I could :) food is super quick and comes out amazing. I love their spicy soup, pan fried meat dumplings, and their big ol' steam Ubu. 4 Stars all the way.”
