The food here in general is not oily and because of that, it is healthier, which is why we like coming here, not to mention because they are also delicious.
Food is close to how nanay cooked it. Almost anyway. So that is another reason why we come here.
You pay at the end of your meal and the service is really good.
There is alot of meat selection, however I would add to please make more vegetable variety as there is usually only one veggie dish present.
Place is not that big and its adequate for what they do, however during busy times tables can be hard to get so get there early on weekends
My advise for those getting the to go order, to never get the entree separate order, always get the combo with the rice because its cheaper than getting two entree to go without the rice. The difference is $4 more. It doesn't make any sense but that's how they do it
This hole-in-the-wall is our go to for quick and tasty bite. Food is always fresh and tasty and the service is fast and efficient.
This place takes only cash, though, which is not a big issue at all. Just make sure to come with extra $$$ because you still gotta have the halo-halo!
We go here for the breakfast specials. Tapsilog, Longsilog or what ever combination you desire. Spam too. Can't beat the price and it is cooked fresh upon order. The pork chop is excellent as well. They also have prepared food to build a lunch or dinner combo. Small place with about 5 tables but turnover is quick.
I had crispy chicken skin plus beef steak strips with steamed rice here for lunch. They were ok. Inside, it's not air-conditioned. It's a small place, which had been around for some time. You can just point to those food you want, they will serve them to your table. Quick service.
Hidden in the back of Philippine Bread House. Separate entity. Better Entrees. Bring Cash!
We've been going to Philippine Bread House for decades, and every once in a while we eat Filipino food there. In the last year, the taste and consistency of the prepared food have gone down a tad. The last time we were there to buy bread we stopped by Little Quiapo in the back, since our car was parked in front of it.
The food was surprisingly good, at least the ones that we've tried. Reminds me more of traditional Filipino food tastes, which is a good thing. Go here for breakfast! Can't really go wrong with the choices for almusal. The other entrees were just okay.
Now this place is really a hole in the wall and could use some sprucing up. Very old and dated decor and dine in space is very limited. Maybe a dozen or less seating.
Again, CASH only honey!
