“Finally! Korean bbQ Chicken in Bayonne. I’m accustomed to going into ktown whenever I’m craving crispy Korean Chicken. So happy I don’t have to travel for it now. I ordered through Grubhub for delivery. Delivery was fast and the food arrived hot, fresh, and smelling AMAZING! I ordered half order of the original Golden Crispy Chicken, Kimchi Fried Rice with Cheese, and Rose Ddeok-bokki with cheese. The order came with a free side of pickled radish which is a nice palette cleanser. The chicken was fresh, juicy, crispy and flavorful. Exactly what I was expecting. The sides were really good as well. The only thing missing was some Kloud Beer and Soju. I will be better prepared next time I order so that I can have the full experience. The portions are huge. There’s enough for 3 servings. I know what I’m having for lunch tomorrow! Highly recommended.”

Everything was plated beautifully, well portioned, and, most importantly, delicious! You can tell they use high quality ingredients and put a lot of care into the cooking. “Great restaurant at great location. It’s a really nice setup with bar and brick over taking the center stage. Food menu is elaborate. In appetizers we tried French onion soup, steamed mussels and steak tartar. All were good flavors. Steak tartar was more lemony for my palette. We had old fashion (which was average and did not have depth) but other cocktails were good. For main we had rack of lambs, mushroom risotto and skirt steak. All were good. Only down side was the noise level in my he restaurant. It’s a loud place so don’t expect to go here and have a quiet chat. All in all great experience.”

Bread & Salt is doing something new and different for those of us in the neighborhood who wish to have something that is not the same all the time. Those places are great and everybody has their favorites, but sometimes you desire a change and want to taste something new. Those reviewers saying they're using cheap tomatoes and whatnot just don't know what they're talking about as that's just a lie. They are very up front about what they use and they use very expensive ingredients. You simply cannot charge the same for products made from them....it's simply not fair to compare them. If you can't tell the difference or the difference just doesn't matter to you, just go someplace else and enjoy...why the bad review for a place that works hard to please it's customers and clearly has their love and support? 🤌 Long live Bread & Salt...kudos.”
