“I had the most delicious brunch today at this cafe. I was hiking in the area and drove by on my way home. I would move to the area so that I could eat here everyday. Who thought breakfast could be so delicious. The homemade peach jam was amazing and they sent me home with some homemade grape jam. I also bought some yummy baked goods to share with my family. “We are excited to have great Portuguese BBQ so close by. Ordered some food to go. The person that answered was friendly, explained that the meals came with fries and rice, and was accurate regarding the wait time. The food was ready right on time and the staff inside was friendly. The food was AMAZING. The portions are gigantic! We ate till we were stuffed and will probably have leftovers for the next 3 nights. We ordered the chicken and pork cubes house style, the spare ribs, and the sausage appetizer, and each beat our expectations. We will be back soon. “This hotel is amazing! The staff is so kind & helpful! They even helped me plan a surprise for my fiance to be delivered to our room while we were out to dinner. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and were extremely personable! The queen courtyard room is beautiful with a heavenly bed & luxurious whirlpool tub! Plus, the surrounding area is relaxing and filled with places to visit! I would definitely recommend staying here is you get the chance!”

“TIP: Call first to make sure they are open. Ya know, wait times, covid, staffing...etc.. REVIEW: I'm well-versed in philly cheesesteaks and roast pork sandwiches. The cheesesteaks are the best I've had in NJ hands down and rival the best of PA. The roast pork w rapini and provolone is very good. Rapini was over cooked a bit (stringy not crisp), but garlic was on point. Id order it again, however, doesn't rival south philly roast pork w rapini. The prices are maybe $1 more than the best philly steaks........I'd pay much more to not drive to philly!! I'm so happy to have this gem so close to home. My search for cheesesteaks is finally over this side of the Delaware river! Please visit and try it for yourself, i need this place to last!”

“Ship Inn/ Descendants Brew Pub has been a long time local stop for me for more years than I care to admit. But this is my first time in several months. Part of the transition from Ship Inn to Descendants Brewing has involved some tasteful renovations/update which nicely blend the old charm with an upscale look. In addition to their on premise brews, they have a nice selection of "guest taps" and English/ European bottles. An expanded menu offers some staples and new offerings. I started with a Best Bitter and some Old Bay seasoned wings. The wings were meaty, juicy and very crispy (no breading). The Old Bay went great with a side of Dill dipping sauce. The Best Bitter was of course as good as it's always been. For my main course I chose the Wild Boar burger with Bacon & Goat Cheese. It was cooked as ordered (medium), juicy and delicious! While great on it's own, the side of Mole dipping sauce was a great enhancement and worked well with the flavor of the boar, the thick cut bacon, and the creaminess of the goat cheese. I washed that down with the house Irish Stout. Very awesome meal, friendly and attentive waitstaff. If you've never been Go! If you're just venturing out for the first time in 2021, make sure this is on your shortlist.”

“My wife and I just had an outstanding meal at the Inn which apparently just re-opened under new management. I had the salmon which was perfectly cooked and my wife's lasagna was outstanding as well. We couldn't tell that it had just opened because the service was excellent and everything seemed well-organized. It was definitely worth the price and we will be going back.”
