“The sandwiches for lunch are good. Chicken salad is very good but the consistency of the quality isn't great. Depends on who makes the food on what you are going to get. Sometimes my sandwiches and bagels are heaping with yummy-ness and sometimes is mostly bread...This is my bagel with "extra cream cheese" that I usually ask for because they do not usually give enough to cover the bagel.”

“Bob and I have been to just about every restaurant in Flemington and beyond! So when he said we were going to Sumatra’s on route 31, I thought oh good the pizzeria. We go there and we’re greeted by Giovanni who runs the place. I said to Bob oh it’s so damn bright in here. So we ordered appetizers bruschetta bread and garlic bread. The bruschetta bread was the very best I have had anywhere and that’s saying a lot. You may say so what so bruschetta bread was good. No it does matter and this was excellent and so was the fresh garlic bread. The chef shows he or she cares. Then came my chicken franchise and the chicken parm and ziti. Well let me tell you everything was excellent. So so good. I feel that at this point I qualified to critique, and this is not a pizzeria, ita a fine Italian food restaurant. “What a cool place that caught me completely by surprise. This is not the type of place you find on the quiet side of a small town. The vibe and the service is what makes this place charming. I came in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. I was the only one eating outside and it was a beautiful setting with a couple of barns next door. The birria tacos were the icing on the cake. I was hungry since I missed breakfast and I struggled to finish the tacos. They were very tasty, maybe even the best birria I’ve had and I’ve had a lot. If you’re hungry this is a place to go to. I practiced my Spanish with the waiter, who was very friendly, and the rest of the staff spoke as well so I know the food was authentic. The waiter asked if I wanted to try their homemade hot sauces and he presented them to me. What a cool experience!”

“My experience at Sisao was nothing short of exceptional. I went in for a Saturday dinner, and was completely in awe at the beauty of the food that came out. “An old Flemington school coffee shop reopened August 2023. Went for breakfast, delicious! Mel was my server, she was spot on with her service, I sat at the counter. “Been waiting for this Hooters to open for a couple months now and I’m excited to be the first to leave a review. Restaurant was very clean and good atmosphere. Wings were cooked perfectly and very good, but the size just isn’t what it used to be (not specific to this location though). Prices are steep, but I think that’s just the cost of wings these days. Our waitress Sabrina was kind, professional, and attentive, and was kind to our young daughter. We’ll be back again!”

The rice was nice and fluffy and the beans were seasoned well. The fajitas were excellent and everything was fresh. “Never had Thai food before so take what I day with a grain of salt. But all together food was great (could have used a little more spiciness in the curry imo but that was just me and they were willing to give me a small tray of chili flakes to spicen it up a bit.). Staff were very nice and accommodating, even when there were a lot of people in the resteraunt at once. Had a funny interaction when I asked for my food to be spicy level 4/5 the waiter questioned to make sure I was thinking of the right level, still wasn't that spicy but tasted good. All together will definitely be back and highly reccomend.”

“Great local vibe and delicious, freshly made food. My meatballs were obviously made there and were light with great Italian seasoning. The sauce, made on site, was not overcooked or acid, but was tomato sweet. My spouse's vegetable dish surprised us with the generous amount and was complex and nicely grilled. “New little bistro in Sergeantsville, NJ. Clean and welcoming interior, and outdoor dining was created with a lot of attention to detail. Service was very friendly and welcoming. My dining partner had a breakfast sandwich which was one of the best she ever had. I had the smash burger - extremely tasty, but my criticism is the ratio of bun vs. burger - it's a 4oz. patty (they offer on the menu an extra patty at an extra charge), and the bite seems to be 80% bun to 20% meat - was very noticeable and distracting. I may be the lone critic for this, but maybe consider a 6oz or 8oz burger? The smaller burger already goes for $11, so they may have to charge a LOT more to accomplish this. The other critical issue were the fries. Crispy and hot, but they were buried in seasoning other than just salt - we found them overwhelming - most expect fries to be just that, fries with some salt. Bottom line, we left happy, it was one of those things that it "would have been nicer if........" situations. But do try this new place out, it looks like their other offerings are terrific!”

“Seating was the Charm: Clams Casino, Surf & Turf, and Rack of Lamb all done quite well, and very much appreciated the sides (mashed potatoes and asparagus) were equally as good. Deserts were indeed excellent, especially the cheesecake. The Mousse cake has some actual black cake in it, if you're not into that sorta thing, but it was delicious. Coffee was weak and terrible and the cups they use aren't good either. Service excellent, as is the ambiance. Looks like a fun place to have an outdoor private party. I suggest they get a lobster tank to improve the surf & turf, frozen tails just doesn't cut it. Mixed drinks on the small side. There's great seating choices at this place, inside and out. $100 for two people with each person getting a drink, appetizer, meal, dessert and coffee-- so pretty good value for a soup-to-nuts experience.”

“Just opened in March 1st, so my general rule is not to try a restaurant until the kinks have been worked out. It's a great casual lunch or dinner place. The food was good! It's byob, so that helps with the bill. Food was reasonably priced and what we had was good. Server tried, she was clearly inexperienced, but none the less, she did a good job.
