Pork Chop’s Bbq

Just about perfect meal great flavor. Cooked to the proper temperature med. Could of had fountain drinks but great food.

Tasty, quick, and clean service. Would recommend without a doubt.

FINALLY OPEN !!!!! Some of the best BBQ i have ever had and the prices are good too. Beats driving another half hour to the original Porkchops in Flemington. This is going to be your new favorite take-out. Everything on the menu is delicious.

Went in to check out the new place in town. Portuguese barbecue is its own cuisine, and to my knowledge there's no other ones in Mercer County. I was excited to say the least.

We ordered the ribs and chicken combo, empanadas, and sides. First, the portion sizes are everything you hope for. Each order feeds two if not three people. The ribs and chicken were a little on the dry side, but had great flavors. The vegetables side was mixed veggies with plenty of garlic, very nice.

The empanada was pretty bland. It needed a sauce or something to dip in, or a lot more seasoning. The plantains side was also pretty bland - not my experience with similar other places, and again no dip or extra flavoring. The only thing provided was very small cups of pretty mild hot sauce and barbecue sauce.

My friend got a house salad, oil and vinegar. The cup she was given was not red at all, and the oil inside tasted like canola more than olive.

Overall a good experience and I look forwards to them getting better with experience.
