“Not terrible. Not amazing. The service was good. We were treated well and the food came out in a timely manner. From what I gathered, this establishment is new and opened up for the summer. In the kitchen are what appears to be young workers, just teenagers - which isn't bad necessarily. We ordered the Hungry Man and the waffle stick (bacon inside a churro). The Hungry Man is a dish that revolves around potatoes, topped with many ingredients like cheese, lettuce, beef, guacamole. It was an underwhelming dish, mainly because I thought the large amount of lettuce was overbearing. I thought there could be more beef too, but at least the beef was tasty. The whole dish was a little bland. The waffle stick wasn't bad. It was a decent bite of savory and sweet, but didn't quite hit the spot. Overall, I think this spot has potential. The prices are reasonable and the logo is awesome (a dog with sunglasses - yeah!). I think the dishes need to be elevated in certain ways to make each bite more satisfying.”

“I hosted a dinner with my friends and clients at The Victorian Grill. The food was excellent. The service was top-notch. Everyone really enjoyed it If you want a GREAT BURGER, this is the place to go. The truffle fries are amazing also! They have a lovely outdoor set up - bright tables and umbrellas and tall palm trees. They take pride in their outdoor space and in their food. What a wonderful addition to Ocean Grove!”

“My sister, her husband and I drove specifically to Ocean Grove, from Marlboro, for crepes and chose The Porch for its reviews. I have never had a crepe as a breakfast before, and I must say it was out of this world. It was beautifully placed on my dish and tasted as good as it looked. In addition, the coffee was superb. “So, I have Celiac Disease & haven’t been out to eat in 14 years because of my fear of gluten cross-contamination. I saw in the window that they had Gluten-Free subs. I went in, got a Regular #11 on an Udi’s brand Gluten-free sub. Frickan FANTASTIC! Yes, I was a bit desperate to feel ‘normal’ again, to sit in a place & actually say I had gone out to eat, but the whole experience goes much deeper than that. I’ve been back a dozen times over the 2018 year. I have NEVER gotten sick from the subs, even though I am extremely sensitive to Gluten. The associates were meticulously careful when preparing the sub. They changed their gloves, wiped down the meat slicer, put the roll on a separate tray, and made absolute sure that nothing jeopardized the sub. They never have an attitude that it’s an inconvenience, and carefully walk me through each step of the toppings. The store is always clean. Condiments, soda machine, ice, and napkins are always filled. The workers are always very attentive. The Manager that I always see there; big guy with a darker complexion and dark hair. Let me say say this about him; you’re a manager at a sub shop, but you approach it as though you’re a top executive at a large Fortune 500 corporation, while still having fun with your co-workers. We need more of that work ethic and positive attitude in the service industry! He’s great at his job, and it reflects on those that work with him. Lastly, although not the only great worker, Zoe is absolutely wonderful! She remembers her customers by name AND their preferred subs! The other workers are always in a happy mood with her. Jersey Mike’s has been a lifesaver for me. I’ve recently been to a couple of other JM stores. Great, but not as good as the Neptune one. Thank you for helping me to enjoy dining out again. Sorry if this review is so long. You only had to read it once. Go there and see for yourself.”
