“This review is just for breakfast as this is a seafood restaurant the experience may be very different for lunch or dinner. They have a large outdoor area to sit. The outdoor tables were not set with anything. Our server was nice. Water was served in a carafe and the glasses had ice. I ordered a make your own omelet and a cup of coffee. The omelet only came with potatoes and not toast. It was very expensive for what it was. The omelet was fine but the coffee was a little bitter and was never refilled. They ran out of flatware so my companion had to wait but his flatware did arrive before the food. I was never offered a spoon for my coffee although I was given a flatware package of a fork and knife when my coffee was served. While we waited for our food, which took some time but we didn't mind, my view was of the peeling cabinet and the high chairs in the photo, although they did have some pretty planters full of flowers around the porch on my other side. It doesnt appear to be the kind of place where the staff works together as a team to make sure all the customers are taken care of so it was kind of a cold experience when we first arrived. It is not a bad place but in my opinion the experience for breakfast was not worth the $30 (before tip) we paid.”

“I just left there and I already miss it allot. I stayed for 11 days in total. All around, this place is simply amazing! The women at the front desk, are some of the most lovely people I've ever come across. As I went too my toom, I couldn't believe how big it was, for the price I paid. I hate absolutely NO problems, my entire stay there. It was the most friendly, welcoming, comfortable, and pleasant place I've ever stayed. I only left due too them closing for a while. I will absolutely stay there again in the future when they open back up! Every morning, the maid or cleaning lady, always brought me fresh towels, toilet paper, sheets & pillow cases, and soap. Every morning she greeted me with a smile and a friendly hello! She also always asked if I needed anything, or would like my room cleaned. This place, I cannot say anything but great things about it. The price, the people who work there, the size, the grounds, the accommodations, and cleanliness are all impeccable. I will be back, and will refer everyone I know here! Happy holidays ladies, and thanks for all the great coffee :)”

“I sent my husband out to get breakfast for us and he came back with a whole wheat “everything bagel” with pork roll, egg and cheese. The next day, I said I wanted to go back and order the same exact breakfast sandwich just to be sure I wasn’t crazy... It was seriously the best bagel breakfast sandwich I’ve had. It was hot and delicious!!! Thanks!”

“Took 20 minutes to get seated. Lobster bisque had a burnt taste and a thick film overtook of it. My pork chop was tasty, but over cooked, and dessert was excellent. Hubby had signature lobster dish which was also overcooked. Crab cakes should have lump crab meat, not back fin. It was a busy night, being St. Valentine's Day, so we will give them another chance on a quiet evening. Atmosphere and ambiance were wonderful and service was very good. Food was poor, service and ambiance were very good.”

The vibe is modern with a dash of classic; the woodwork appears to be original to an old-fashioned pharmacy. The food was standard breakfast fare, and I had a great hot chocolate. “My wife and I went to Larimar for the first time last night (belated Valentine's Day dinner). It was wonderful! The wait staff, ambiance and the food were all 1st rate. Speaking of the wait staff, our server did a fantastic job of explaining the menu. She made everything sound so good, that it made choosing hard (in a good way!). Setting up reservations via their website was quick and easy as well. I highly recommend Larimar for a romantic night out.”

“My favorite place to eat. The food is always outstanding, the service is really great, and the atmosphere is just so welcoming. I get the same thing all the time: Callahan's Pork Chops. Divine. And you must try the Dublin Rolls. Even the kids love the food here (it's a bit fancy for them; but they love the hamburgers and the pretzel appetizer). My husband's favorite is the Brown Derby.”
