“Most creative comfort menu! We always over order because everything sounds good, and everything we have had is amazing! Breakfast and brunch are great, and lunch items are so good too. If the amazing food isn’t enough to get you in, the service is also wonderful. Just the right amount of attention, and so friendly and kind. Even good for kids. Brown paper in the tables, with crayons to doodle. They even were kind when my 3 year old spilled almost a full glass of orange juice!”

“My husband and I recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Poached Pear Bistro. The atmosphere is lovely and calm, our waitress was friendly and helpful. The menu is extensive and imaginative and it definitely took us some time to make our choices. Everything was artistically plated and of generous quantity, perfectly prepared and served. I don't know what took us so long to try this gem at the shore. I think we have definitely discovered our favorite restaurant for special occasions.”

“Been coming here for years and there is a reason for all the repeat visits! The fish is fresh and delicious and the meals are outstanding. First only came to pick up fish but now it’s one of my favorite dinner spots. Love the lobster bisque and the jambalaya! They always provide you with plenty of oyster crackers whether you are eating in or taking out. Never had a bad oyster here and love trying the specials or just ordering off the classic menu! The portions are big and I have never ever left hungry. It is BYOB and they provide a bucket of ice if needed. Can’t wait for my next visit!!”

“Several of our friends and relatives all live around the corner from this place, and we have dined here several times this Summer. Every time was good and the food and service has always been excellent. The menu is broad with a lot of choices, which is very good for us, as we oftentimes have a large group with kids. The adults can get dinners, but the kids can still get pizza which is a nice option. We also just hosted a small birthday party this past weekend in their upstairs space which was also great! We had about 25 people from the neighborhood, and the room was just perfect! Private space with its own bar, and even an outside deck overlooking the marinas where the guys went to have cigars! Just an excellent time and everyone enjoyed it. Sam and his staff did a fantastic job. This is our go to pace at the Beach!”

“This place hits the spot. Has to be one of the more popular places around Point Pleasant. Quirky little cafe with delicious hot made to order donuts that are as crazy as they come with weird toppings and flavors. Bring on the wet wipes because they are dripping with all sorts of goo and drizzle and awesome flavors. Plus they have coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Prices are decent and staff is cool.”

“I don’t normally post reviews, but I just had to after our short experience visiting Point in August 2018. First, it’s under new ownership since 2016, and boy are we glad we stopped here! We were so tired of the same slices from the boardwalk. This one is just one block off and about 4 blocks from Jenks, and WELL WORTH THE WALK! Family owned and passionate about their quality, ingredients, service and delivery! You can’t go wrong. Light, crispy, yet doughy thin crust, the best marinara, and fresh mozzarella with a drizzle of olive oil imported from Italy!! Ha, I sound like such a foodie, but this place can’t be skipped! Check it out!”

“My friends got married recently and had their reception at Jack Baker's Lobster Shanty. The room was nice. The food was honestly the best food that I have ever had at a wedding. It was incredible. I had the seafood platter, my friend had the steak and we tried the chicken dish also. Could not complain about a thing. The cocktail hour was also fantastic. The bartenders were super friendly as well as the servers. This was a great place!”

“THEIR BLACKENED look of their CRAB cakes are because they deep fry them! :) Stopped on the way back home to have some good seafood. The place was packed but they seated me fast. The service is fast. People are EXTREMELY friendly. Loved my waitress. The food was amazing. The crab cake appetizer was different, it looked almost blackened crab cake. That look is because they DEEP FRY their crab cake! Never seen that before! Nevertheless the food tasted amazing. Will go back again for sure!!”

“First, I love the Jersey Shore. Point Pleasant is one of my family's favorite places for years. My wife and daughter share their birthday in July and the two of them go out for dinner to Red's Lobster Pot for the last 5 year's. I was getting super jealous and had to go. My wife took me the first time this summer 2018. I was so impressed. First the views we had the opportunity to watch the sunset over the bay. It was unbelievable. We ate outside and at Red's Lobster Pot you order and pay for your food at a counter after getting seated. The seafood selection is fantastic and so so fresh. We were ordering Lobster while a guy was dealing his catch of lobsters from the day. Needless to say our dinner was unbelievable. Even though there isn't table service the waiters and waitress are very attentive. The meal the restaurant and the day was exceptional. Thanks Red's I'll be back when it's not a B'day visit.”
