“I have to give it to this place, it does not look like much sitting inside Fantasy Island Amusement Park in Beach Haven LBI, however with the expanded seating area and some pretty cool menu items like ribbon chips drizzled with bacon and sour cream and cheese and pulled pork sliders, it really hits the spot! I was pleasantly surprised how good it was and how clean the seating area is as well. Staff is really friendly as well. Make it a point to grab something to eat here while visiting!”

“Good ice cream, but a bit expensive. You can literally go to the grocery store 4 blocks away and buy a pint of the same ice cream for less then a cone. That being said their milk shakes and smoothies are very good. They use fresh ingredients so it is worth the cost. Their location is excellent, right on the main road and near popular attractions in town.”

“Been coming to lbi for many years. First time at Fred’s Beach haven diner and it was great! It was me, my mom and my 3 year old son. I usually get nervous taking my son to a restaurant for the obvious fact that he could get restless. They offer coloring books and baskets of toys for the children. I was able to sit and enjoy my meal and my son played nicely next to me. Our waitress, Tammy, was extremely polite, patient, and friendly. The food was delicious (French fries are very tasteful) and the price is fair. We will be back! Thank you.”

“Barry's has become our new go-to dinner (and lunch) spot on the island during our vacation here each year. The food is always top-notch, everyone is friendly and the in-house ice cream shop is a real hit for the kids (OK and us parents too). Prices are reasonable, food comes out quickly. What more can you ask for. This hidden gem is just off the main drag, but well worth the visit. You won't be let down!”

“We have enjoyed this tiny, local gem for many years. The food (BYO) is always fresh and plentiful, but beware!! This place has rules and Nell will make sure you follow them. First and foremost, turn off that cellphone. No excuses! Secondly, if you arrive to a crowd, put your name and the number in your party on the white board inside the place, then wait patiently OUTSIDE to be called. For us, the wait has always been worth it.”

“After reading the reviews, tried the Labrador Lounge with some friends. The menu offered something for everyone. Ordered the Cuban corn as an appetizer and it was dynamite. Mains included the barramundi special, the Tuscan chicken, the sesame crusted yellow fun and the cast iron pasta bake all of which were enjoyed. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. We will be adding the Labrador Lounge to out lost of places to go in the future.”
