“Seating was the Charm: Clams Casino, Surf & Turf, and Rack of Lamb all done quite well, and very much appreciated the sides (mashed potatoes and asparagus) were equally as good. Deserts were indeed excellent, especially the cheesecake. The Mousse cake has some actual black cake in it, if you're not into that sorta thing, but it was delicious. Coffee was weak and terrible and the cups they use aren't good either. Service excellent, as is the ambiance. Looks like a fun place to have an outdoor private party. I suggest they get a lobster tank to improve the surf & turf, frozen tails just doesn't cut it. Mixed drinks on the small side. There's great seating choices at this place, inside and out. $100 for two people with each person getting a drink, appetizer, meal, dessert and coffee-- so pretty good value for a soup-to-nuts experience.”

Cool separate entrance from the Element hotel where it sits on the rooftop. Awesome views of NYC! We had some great small plates, cocktails and the DJ kept the beat pulsing all night. “This is my favourite restaurant. I come here a couple of times a year only because it's kind of a drive from where I live but I always make it a point to stop in. The quality of food and presentation of the plates are second to none. The tres leches cake is one of the best things you can have there after your main course. The prices are not cheap but neither is the quality. Every person I've ever recommended this place to has been absolutely blown away. Definitely recommend everyone try it at lease once.”

“I went to this bar often in the early 2000s so when I was in the Newark area yesterday, I had to stop by Feathers for a walk down Memory Lane. The bar tender downstairs was super friendly, I chatted with a few guys there who were regulars in the past also and then went upstairs about 10 pm. It was jus as I remember - guys start coming about 11 pm, and when I left about 1 am guys were lined up to get in outside! There was a great drag show upstairs and after, most people upstairs stayed on the dance floor. There was an overall great vibe.”

I haven't even got to the food yet, we went during brunch time and their brunch menu is amazing I got the open-faced pastrami as recommended by our waitress and also got a gin and tonic. “Beautiful views from large, modern and very clean rooms. The staff is extraordinary. We arrived late and the bar and room service were closed. The vending machine wouldn't take anything larger than a dollar bill and I only had one single. When I asked the lady at the front desk for change, she apologized that she couldn't break my bill, but insisted I accept a dollar she retrieved from her wallet so I could buy a soft drink. A/C works great and room was nice and quiet. Our other requests for extra towels and more coffee were meet promptly. Wifi and parking are very good. I will definitely be back.”
